It was pretty interesting! Sometimes   the ladders would  be in a spot where they didn't help at all

I think this concept of having the class be chosen for you is interesting, personally I think it might be more interesting to have the "randomness" (dice roll) else where as well and not just for choosing the class for the player.

The procedural level generation and the randomised classes were cool, but I think it was held back by the ultimate goal being to find the strange totems. Sometimes, they would spawn on top of each other and next to me, and other times I would be stuck at the bottom of the level with the totem nowhere to be found. This goal forces the player to explore, although the levels were unfortunately quite boring since they got repetitive very quickly.

I really like the concept, reminded me a bit of Dead Cells. The ladders were finicky and the sword was wasn't as fun to use, but overall I enjoyed it. Also you can moonwalk which is always a major +

Sword fighting felt bad. But the random class idea is good. Could benefit of having more classes and changing them between levels.

Good concept! I enjoy the idea of randomly assigned weapons. More polish would be great, but that's more of a post-jam suggestion. Good work!

Nice game! Concept is interesting but doesn't feel complete enough. Still, with more polish and development time this can be a great game. Good job!

Good game, probably could be extended with adding more classes, enemies, level variety. Hitting enemies doesn't really feel good with a sword, since they just get pushed away, but shooting is good. Liked it!

I like the class generation concept

A pretty nice game, with pretty sweet level generation for 48 hours!
