How does your game fit the theme?
In this racing platformer, you must flick a dice around, so it fits literally, and your items are also tied to that roll, so it fits in yet another way!

Nice idea just need the camera movement to be polished.

Submitted

Fun idea and it would works great as multiplayer game.

It was hard to understand when I have abilities and how they can be activated

Submitted

Cool concept , could work well for a casual or party game. Allot of potential, though, imho movement needs cleaning up though , is it a deliberate choice to flip mouse input left/right?  Congrats on the really interesting concept!

Aiming is really hard, but I like this game. It's pretty fun and graphic is also nice.

Submitted

The game looks nice but it's really hard to aim due to the perspective. I think if you changed that it would much easier and more fun to play. Good job on making the opponents though!

Submitted

The idea is pretty solid, it feels like a nice variation on the Mario-Kart idea. But the game is so hard! I found it very hard to judge where you’re gonna land with the mouse sensitivity being so high, and I could never keep up with the AI dices.

Also there are some camera issues when close to walls.

So, good idea, but would probably need more polish. :D

I loved the comment that said "the dark souls of dice-based racing games", on point haha.

Yeah a bit too hard for me, and I'm sensible to motion sickness, so I couldn't try hard for long sadly!

But the arts are nice and the fact that you added opponents is the little twist that make your game stand out, well done!

Developer

Thanks for letting me know about your experience!

A little hard to play, but i like the idea!

Love the art of the game and the mechanics is fun but, the sensitivity on the mouse is way too high!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, yeah I'm not quite sure what happened to the sensitivity when I exported!

Submitted

Nice Idea. I especially liked that you added bots/opponents. ^^
As other comments pointed out the main problems where keeping track of things due to 1) the mouse sensitivity (and sometimes the mouse seemed to randomly jump. Probably when something was loading a long time) and 2) the fact that you could sometimes not the the next platform you were supposed to jump to. The platforms were often below the one you are on. Maybe adding something so that you could fly above the dice with the camera and thus see the next platform would be nice.

Anyways, good submission :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! There is a top view that was intended to fix the viewing issue, however it ended up being rather buggy and unhelpful, so I'll be sure to keep in mind your solution!

Submitted

I like the idea, and the frantic vibes very much. But the camera view/control sensitivity makes it really hard to "control" the game. Would make a wicked party game though!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I'll have to keep multiplayer in mind if I decide to come back to this!

Submitted

I like the idea of having slides that bring you down to the end quicker, I ended up going down it really slow though and had to wait a while. This could be expanded into a cool Golf with your Friends type game!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I agree with you, the slides did end up being slow (just now realizing a physics material would have fixed that in ten seconds...)

Unintended dark souls, but hey we take those!

Love the idea of dice racing, and the implementation of power ups is very well executed, however it is very hard to control and see what you are doing. But looks great and is overall a well-made game.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback here! Top view was intended to fix sight issues that you might have, however I'm aware its really buggy and not particularly efficient to use while racing, so that's definitely something for me to work on!

Submitted

A bit hard to control and I got stuck in top view at one point, but the concept is very cool!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Never came across the top view bug while playtesting up until the final version, so that was an unfortunate one that I didn't get a chance to fix!

Submitted

Agree with the comment about the camera sensitivity but other than that I could see this becoming addictive. Flicking the die around was fun!

Thanks for the feedback!

The sensitivity for the camera was a bit too high on itch.io, otherwise really a nice idea and would love to see a more polished version of this game!

Developer

Thanks for letting me know about that, if I do end up coming back to this post-jam, I will keep that feedback in mind!

The green slide was mean >:c

Developer

I'm going to assume it was the first slide that you had issues with... Because that would make two of us.
