The concept is nice, and the tutorial eases you in just right, but I think these kind of puzzles lend themselves better to 3d. In 2d it is just too difficult to know which "direction" your dice is in without rolling around to see the side faces.
The theme is cool, so is the art, and I like that there is a motivation to accomplish the puzzle for the sake of dear Rolly.
Good job !
Nice Game!
FREE MY BOY ROLLY
Anyway, it's a really nice concept that would be even better with an indicator showing you what face you'll roll into. I had this problem with my game as well, so I made some UI to show the players their next step. Otherwise, it's really fun and pretty challenging.
nice job :)
I think there's a bit of a disconnect between understanding the faces and which ones are on the sides. If there was an indicator of what number I would be rolling into, then I think I could make smarter choices without having to check the different sides of the dice manually. That's just me though and it could be something that I alone am struggling with. The game does a great job of thoughtfully placing numbers in ways that only require a single move or two to properly line up for and there are plenty of strategies to get a number you want like keeping it on a side that you never flip. Fun strategies here for sure and I hope you do something with the concept in a future update or sequel. Good job!
Thank you for your detailed feedback! To be honest I myself sometimes struggled with my own game too so the difficulty might have been a bit harsh for players, I will try to balance better in future updates! Thank you for your encouragement and playing my game!
Soo cute but why did they lock Rolly up :,(
I know it is top down but I wish I could see the sides of the die, because tbh I (and pobably a lot of other people) don't know the layout of a 6 sided dice from memory. Otherwise fine work indeed!
I sure hope Rolly isn't a war criminal :(
Rolly is just an innocent dragon, and a weak dragon because Rolly is round and small, but people have a history of hating dragons for no reasons (no) ;(
Thank you for your feedback! It is intended design, and because of that I made the field wide for players to try and experiment if not prefer to calculate, now I know the difficulty is a bit harsh, sorry for that! Thank you for playing my game!
Very cute art! Many games this jam did something similar, but I found the concept very tough to really grasp and have a good strategy for.
Thank you for your feedback! My version is purely 2D so it might have been harder than similar games because of fewer information given, I need to adjust the difficulty of my game for sure :P Thank you for playing!

Cool art and pretty simple puzzle. Still hard for me to get the correct number though. For me, the game pace is pretty slow. Overall, great game
Thank you for playing my game and your feedback!
cool! I had hard time figuring out that the number needs to face downward which made id very confusing. overall nice concept!
Thank you for playing! Glad that you liked this game! :D
I absolutely adore rolly! So cute! the game is very good too since the puzzle mechanics are easy to understand, to follow and to achieve. Sound and music is good too. This could be a great casual puzzle game. Set rolly free! Set rolly free! Set rolly free! 5/5/5
Stay crunchy.
I'm glad to hear you like Rolly! And thank you for your feedback and encouragement!
I used 1384 steps to beat the game! Rolly is cute.
Congratulations on beating Rolly on Dice! You saved Rolly and delivered dice to Rolly in those mazes, and it's a wonderful achievement to finish this not easy game! Thank you for playing!
I like the game, but like others have said, the dice rolling is just way too slow to the point of being tedious. I do like the artwork, although the mesh between the clean drawings and the completely different look of the tiles looks a bit off at times.
Thank you for your feedback! I myself didn't feel satisfied with the rushed tile design in limited time, along with dice speed problem will be addressed in post-jam version! Thank you for playing my game!
good game, I like the concept of the dice being 3D, I think the music fits in amazingly and I like the art, one thing I would have liked change is the speed of the dice rolling.
Thank you for your feedback! The dice speed was indeed not set properly with complex puzzle levels that need many moves, and I'll address it in the post-jam version. Thank you for playing my game!
I agree with Morgan, I soon realised that when you imagine the dice in 3D, it becomes a game about careful management of dice and experimentation.
Yes it's about that, and some of note taking (or memorizing) and planning ahead in later levels! Thank you for playing!
Pretty fun, but it's hard to get a hand of how movement affects the die's number.
Also, +1 for dragons :3
Thank you for your feedback! it's a dice looking from top down so it's just rolling in different directions!
This is a cool concept, I like how it gets you thinking about the die in 3D. I think it might be worth having the tile on the floor match the number thats facing up instead of down, its harder when you have to match it while down but I'm not sure it's actually different in terms or how you position it, it just requires you to hold the numbers in your head.
Thank you for your feedback! I set the number on the opposite side to add difficulty to the game, especially in later levels where myself will fall into the trap at times :P. Thank you for playing my game!
