Cool concept! It's satisfying to kick the dice off and I like some math-y games. Nice job!
Love this game, I especially enjoy how you can flick the dice to change how fast they go off. Although it took me a few minutes to figure out why the dice just flung so far at first.
love the "why does this game fit the theme" answer :D solid stuff!
Interesting Game! I like that kicking dick is ridiculous, crazy!
Nicely done, great work! The game felt really original and Waves were a nice touch too . Great entry
the game is very fun and it was very addicting for me
the kicking of the dice was a little weird at the start but after a bit of playing you get used to it
the waves animation in the background also looks quite nice and the sound effects are not as bad as some of the others ive heard in this game jam
overall is quite a good game
Cool game! Very well done!
Would love to see more iterations on this Idea, it has a lot of potential.
I would suggest to make the timer to kick the dice to not be on top of the dice, sometimes it obstructs the numbers. and maybe make it shorter when the player has a lot of points.
Je vous aime trop
awesome game , made me play this game again and again , This is the game I can say that simple and perfect, keep it up,
also kindly rate and review my game.
Weirdly fun tbh but i never find myself thinking or trying to do the harder calculations, all you have to do is keep the dice in the middle and then when you go over the amount, you just have to kick it off until you get the number. i think this game could use more variety, penalties, or obstacles which would keep the dice from leaving so easily or something that turns or flips them. another idea would be to add a countdown timer from 3 or something after they get the number or count dice that get stacked on the other dice. With there being no bugs i did find it fun to just fling those dice across the sea, i challenge myself to also beat the score only using ones and twos, which did add more variety. I never failed and gave up a while after level 10, so i have no idea if the game ended or not. Thank you :)
Yeah, I kind of agree, the smaller increments of a maximum of +6 per dice make it way too easy at times. I added scaling, so the drop rate increases, but I guess it simply doesn't scale fast enough for the first rounds to be noticeable. And yes, definitely something to expand upon, I enjoyed just knocking them around way too much while testing (which might have contributed to the relatively simple "goal" and a lack of time…😅).
I'll definitely expand on the physics game mechanic (not just a tiny island), because I'm a sucker for golf games.
if you do decide to continue with this please add like penguins or something would be funny if you could throw dice at them
Very simple but very fun, weirdly enjoyable for such an easy to understand concept. Well done!
Fun concept! Like the 3d graphics
Next time I wanna see other dice with negative numbers and other values and such.
I originally thought throwing a D10 or even D20 in there, but that might have complicated things way too much.😉
Now those are indeed rolling dice. Good job :)
The reach the number sound effect is really loud compared to the others and sometimes you hit another dice while trying to kick of one (not sure if that is intended or not).
Also the dice has to be perfectly on the huge dice to count meaning if it leans on another dice and isn't completely on the ground it doesn't count same with dice that are still jumping resulting in repeating the sound effect a lot of times.
The only thing it misses is some kind of goal besides trying to get a high score. But overall really creative idea and very well done the visuals look amazing :D.
Yep, I agree. I normalized the sounds, but guess that one could indeed have used a -20dB cap instead of the -10dB one. Dice not counting (they can sometimes land on he edges and even stay there) is intentional, but I also see how it could be confusing. Originally you'd flip them with a playing piece, but couldn't get the controls right, so you would have toppled most of them automatically.
