Pretty cool game, I enjoyed it a lot! The dice rolling FPS game mechanic is quite clever, and surprisingly fun!! It takes some strategy, some reflexes, and some luck! I like the art style too, minimalist yet effective! I did encounter the dice replacement bug too, just needed to restart the game instead of using the Retry button. There were quite a few runs that I thought I was going to make it, but the my gun keeps jamming! As they say: It's not the die's fault, it's yours! haha! Well done on making a fun clever game! :D

Played for about 10 minutes, was very enjoyable!

I did find one bug with slowwalk: the UI counter for slowwalk doesn't *visually* go down, and you cannot turn around whenever you have slowwalk. This did create really annoying moments, but with the right movement dice everything was fine.

Overall it was really fun to play, pretty simplistic which allowed for the player to get started right away. Great job!

I like that you have to exhaust all the available options with the die before you get new ones. Reminds me of slay the spire a bit, where having fewer cards is often better. Nice job.

Hey! Great game, I played this on stream at https://www.twitch.tv/broxxar if you want to find your game on the VOD later! :D

Developer

Thanks for playing! I appreciate letting me know you streamed it!

I also appreciate getting a couple of bugs on video because I haven't had anyone else playtest other than me basically haha.

I liked this game. I hadn't played an FPS take on the theme yet, and the art was so cool. Fever dream was a good description. Unfortunately I couldn't win, because every time I reached the last level after having died in it once, the game got stuck on the die selection screen. Still, I enjoyed the game (Except those little guys, I hate them with a passion XD )

Self Promotion: I'd love if you could play my game too.

Cool art style... and these default dices are strongest?

Developer

Honestly the default green dice MIGHT be the best one, because it's the most consistent.

However with the red dice, even though the default dice is one of the best, it's more about quantity than quality with the red dice.

the visuals and sounds are chilling and perfectly fitting! the main mechanic is also quite fun.  i would suggest a more interactive tutorial (or maybe i just hate reading lol). great game

Loved the hand drawn aspect! This was also the first shooter I played for the jam, so props on that. The music and especially the sfx were really well done, and this game could have easily been from a much longer jam. Super impressed!

First thing im noticing is how cool the audio is! Okay this game was really fun, I was worried with how dark the main menu was that it was going to be really hard to see what I was doing but the game was actually really  fun! I really enjoyed shooting the enemys and the jams felt really authentic and scary overall this was just a great game!

Fun idea!  I enjoyed the planning around a randomly selection set of actions in an FPS setting

Very cool concept! always go for high hit chance dice, rng too risky
