Fun and creative use of the theme! I liked it and I wish that there were more levels after I finished all the 8.
Very unique concept!
Level 8 was quite tough! Had a great time! Would be cool to see it expanded with different player movement options
Cool idea. You really have to think through the move, like in real chess. Also surprising is the study of artificial intelligence and levels.
Quite a fun experience. If given enough time, it would be cool if there were more types of enemies. You choice of music was really good and fits the game really well. I would say that when you have a lot of enemies, it could get quite annoying waiting for their turn so maybe speeding up the moves would be good or having a button for them to faster would be nice as well. Even with that it's still an amazing game you made in just two days. I loved the route you took of thinking of strategy a with the hand you were dealt with idea and RNG wasn't used in a way which could make you lose or win but it was used in a way were you have to think of new pathways you have to take. Very fun. Good luck on the jam!
Thanks! A speed-up button would be a good solution to the sluggishness that you and others have mentioned. Good luck on the jam to you as well!
Very fun game! The real chess 2, after 2000 years, was released!
As a turn-based game, this game have clear and simple strategies, but lack of some depth and more insteresting situations. I played most of the level, the strategy is just roll a large number, eat and go.
Pretty fun! Maybe adding a single more mechanic can add even more spice to the game, for me was a little to straightforward. Overall the game is very well done. Great Job!
I enjoyed it a lot, it uses the chance and rolling dice aspect more for strategy than blind luck which is a mistake a lot of these games have been making. I do think it went painfully slow, especially on the large maps though.
I like the levels, I like the mechanics, I spent WAY too much time on the endless mode, lol. Good job! Only criticism is that enemy movement takes a bit too long, imo
Pretty good overall! It was fun to try to escape the swarm. There were many times I had false confidence and then got really messed up by a 1, which was cool.
This is way fun! I love the music and the chess mixed with a little bit of luck. I would definitely pay for this!
That last stage was really something!
epic idea, great implementation it startled me when the pieces crossed over each other :p
Huge chess fan here and I loved this game. Finished all levels it got really interesting at the final one.
Great idea ! amazing job
A pretty nice strategy game.
Well done. The gameplay is fun and after level 4 gets decently challenging. My only complaint is how long it takes for all the pieces to move during the computer's turn, especially on the larger levels. Overall very good
This is a very fun strategy game! You should make it for mobile!
Starting looks very easy then it goes like what happened, haha nice job
very fun game, was a very interesting spin on the theme.
great game. fun and not to hard to pick up
