Incredibly cool game all around! My one critique would be that the chess pieces all moving individually ends up taking a long time at the end. Other than that though, very well designed game. Makes great use of its mechanics, would love to see a full release one day
This game had great puzzles accompanied with a really creative and cool set of mechanics. Very nicely done.
Really interesting puzzles, it was a lot of fun!
Really cool Idea, maybe a few more lvl and faster animations,
but apart from that, I really enjoyed it
A very intriguing game with difficult puzzles. Really enjoyed it!
The hint in the upper left corner does not fit with the actual, is that on purpose?
Are you referring to the intro flavor text on the itch.io page? If so, that is a thematic description of the game.
If not, I'm not quite sure what you are talking about? Have you read through all of the Jack's introduction dialogue using the C key?
To the top left you can see the other sides of the dice. But not in the order I expected.
Ahh, I see. Yeah we have it tell you what the die will be if you move in that direction instead of what the sides of the die are. It used to actually show what the sides were, but we reversed it for simplicity's sake.
everything is great except waiting for chess pieces move. with a smoother gameplay it would be awesome game
Yep, this is definitely true. Thank you for rating and giving great feedback!
Pretty cool, I was expecting something more action like, but this was also fun, i think that i would have sped up the enemy animations though
Yeah, the last level can get reallly slow. The enemies really should all jump at once. Thank you!
Really cool concept and art style! There is a lot potential for more levels with your mechanics. Good job!
Thank you!
I enjoyed this one, however, you should have focused less on all the abilities and more on making great puzzles with those abilities. In its current state, the game is a little confusing because there are so many abilities.
Other than that one small issue, this was a great game. It's a little short, but quality > quantity so that doesn't matter too much.
You're definitely right about prioritizing and that the game can be confusing. Thank you!
Really enjoyed this one. I wanted to play more after I finished, which is always a good sign.
Thanks for the kind words!
This is great! Took a while to figure out how my abilities work but this is a good puzzler!
Thanks! Yeah, we wish we had time for a more in-depth tutorial.
Really fun!
Thanks!
I really love the Jack's sprite. The animations are all super fluid for pixel art. I love it! The dice going through the start menu was really cool too! All the puzzles I played were super interesting and fun. The only thing lacking is I think the dialogue needs to be able to skipped through while its writing when you press C. Great job!
Thank you! I also love his design! The dialogue skipping is definitely needed, if only we had 5 more minutes...
Really really pretty! The puzzles were enjoyable and well-made, and I thought the different effects were fun to use and gave the puzzles an extra level of zing :)
Aww! Thanks!
Really fun game, absolutely love the puzzle aspect of it!
Thank you!
