I really loved the look of this game. You should be really proud of the visual style you chose here and how well the game feels in to it

I like when you gamble your life away for a checkpoint. That's my favorite.

Cute little game jam game! The player felt a little floaty, and next time you should do a little more work on that. Other then that, its a solid platformer!

Got me a little to start it on a Mac, but what a nice, pretty, enjoyable platformer with nic graphics. Great game jam entry!

Fun game! I like the graphics and it was a good challenge. For some reason I could only jump with W and not up arrow, even though the other arrows work for movement, though, and the checkpoints didn't always work. Nice job!

it's sad because the visuals are so good, yet the audio is so lacking.
even if the visuals suffered a bit, i believe adding at least music and a jump sound would've made a huge difference!

Great art! I like the mechanic that activating a checkpoint reduces your total HP, could really be expanded on to make it more of a tough decision whether to take it or not!

Big fan of the artstyle. Everything looks super clean. I didn't realize until a few checkpoints in that you have to get the heart in order to get the checkpoint. Maybe including a heart before the first checkpoint instead of starting with 2 hearts could help prevent that confusion?
