What a brilliant game! I thought the concept was inventive, the style of the game was beautiful, and it just. felt. SO. satisfying. Everything felt like part of a whole, and it's incredible it was made in two days.

My main feedback is that it would be great to have some kind of points awarded for winning fights. The game kept bringing me back to the build screen, but I never felt the need to chance my build because I didn't want to risk more eyes on my dice.

But boy, if you do make a bigger version of this game, please let me know cos I'll be first in line. Fantastic work!

Wow! This was a super polished entry! Luckily, the jam version ran on my computer without issue, so I can give this a fair rating! The sound design was really fitting and gave the game an eerie vibe! I thought it was super creative to make the enemy designs based off of what they could roll! Very nice artwork as well! Being able to assign our own weapons and such to our die really helped balance the randomness of the dice rolls! And the "curse eye" was a great way to make sure players didn't make dice that were too overpowered! Amazing work!

I had the same critical bug "Tulenväki Productions" described, so I played the post-jam version, I hope you didn't change anything other than fixing that game-breaking bug, because that would be unfair to the other jammers, rating-wise...

Anyways, presentation-wise, the game looks very good, much better than most jam games.

About the gameplay, as you mentioned it's somewhat similar to my game. It took me a while to figure out how the roll-each-heart-to-check-if-hit mechanic worked, and that the character in the middle of the screen is the opponent and its die-sides, after figuring those things out, I think it's pretty clever. One downside for me is that there really aren't any choices to make accept for the initial choice of "die-sides". I think the game could be more interesting if you could see the upcoming opponent in advance, and build a die specifically to counter that opponent. Also it probably would be an improvement if there were any choices to make during combat.

From a UX perspective, the game is way more communicative than mine, cudos for designing it in a way to that helps intuitively understand what was happening. I was too bogged down in getting the core mechanic to function that I never got around to working on that, but it's super important.

Cool mechanic with really stylish presentation :)

I think maybe a ‘last-chance’ dice, or something similar, would be a nice addition to save people from getting totally wiped out on an unlucky through (which is what happened on my first play through).

But I got a lot more milage on my goes after that, so :D

Played it from the link down below. Nice one! Sad thing that it didn't run on my computer at first. Anyways, good one!

Amazing art and sound design (for some reason it feels louder on my left ear?). With more dice face choices this could definitely become a game that I would play a lot. Nevertheless, it is already fun on it's current state, congrats on finishing the jam !

Amazing visuals. I really like the enemy designs and how they show what dices they have and how they fold when defeated. The mouth-made sounds are great and really add to the minimalistic aesthetic (my left ear enjoyed them).

A lot of polish with meny subtle animations and smooth scene transitions.

I'm glad that you don't lose progress when defeated, it would be quite frustrating.

The idea is original but I wish there was more player agency during fights, as they can take quite some time (especially when using block and it's very strong).

What a cool lil' game. First of all, mobile games are rare, even in this huge jam, so congrats on getting it on mobile! Secondly, everything fits so thematically and just seems so polished. The atmosphere that the songs and sound effects created (I especially like the laughing sound when you beat the enemy). Turn-based battle cleverly designed, and if you want some update suggestions, maybe you could add points or new dice faces every time we beat the enemy? Brimming with personality and charisma, it's such a well-designed game! I only got to level 6 before dying to RNG though xD

The artwork is incredible! And the sounds are fitting, it created a really nice atmosphere. Some things were very unclear for me, I wasn't able to change my dice between fights, but then why was it shown to me? Did the monsters shape/dice plans indicate something, or was it just artwork? I think with some cleaning up this could become something great.

The mechanics and concept were great! Awesome game!

really love the idea. I can totally see it being a core mechanics in a roguelike game. The art is amazing too.

Cool mechanic! Anyone who had to model and texture a dice from scratch in this jam would be able to relate. having 2 or 3 shields is mandatory haha

What an amazing game! I played on the mobile version and it was great! Graphics, music and game design are great, well done!

Congrats your game is now in my games folder forever :D I really like the mix between Strategy and luck. The idea that you have to get a minmun number to be able to use the weapon is very creative. Strategy making is cool where you have a maximun amount of points to use. It's very well-balanced for a 48 hours game. Although the shield is a little op, being for 1 point only. You can take 4 shields and the opponent will never get you.

Btw I like the losing music it's very creepy.

Awesome game overall, everything is neat and polished. I slayed 4 enemies, don't know if there is a boss or more new mechanics next but it's really enjoyable as it is. One of my favourite for now ! Thanks !

This game looks awesome, has amazing sounds, unfortunately I could only play the android version, because the Windows exe doesn't start the game for me. The items have no values and I cannot assign them to any side. I still think that with a bit of polishing this could be a great game!
