How does your game fit the theme?
An assembler takes short, often three-letter instructions from assembly language and converts them to the binary code for the computer. The player of this game acts as the "assembler" of these instructions, with "F"s and "O" instead of 1s and 0s.

WOWIE, I think I found my favorite game of the jam!!! This is such a unique and neat idea and execution, everything fits within the concept of "two", the controls, the colors, the sounds. I really like the sound design part and the variety of played notes makes it feel so organic while also being a great help to remember the different combinations.
I'm really really impressed,  what a great game!!!! :oO

Thanks for playing and for the very kind words and feedback! I was pumped when I thought of the 1-bit visuals and two-note music, so I’m glad you enjoyed it as much as I have!

Played it a few times already and I am still surprised at the level of quality for a game jam. one of the few games that I've enjoyed in a while.

Developer

Thank you, reading this and the other comments have made my day! I am so glad to have made something that I’m proud of that other people are enjoying!

Crazy puzzle game, but I doubt you made it in a week... Couldn't even finish and think one of the last levels i've encountered is unfinishable. I already spent two hours doing that. Im very doubtful you succeed to make all the visual art which is something, the sound ok, find the idea(??!) + make all the design levels sounds crazy

Developer

Thanks for playing, I really did make this only during this week, and it surprised even myself how polished it ended up being! I think the 1-bit art style helped me get the art done at a better rate, and some of the puzzles near the end might be tough but I can say they are all possible.

I love how the music matches the buttons you press. The mechanic of only having 2 buttons to do everything is really unique.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I was excited when I thought of the idea to have the player “play the music” with their button presses, so I’m glad you enjoyed that!

This project is amazing! The use of the theme is probably the most unique and creative I've seen. The art style is also perfect for the game—simple, beautiful, and very polished. The mechanics of the levels are creative and challenging as well. My only feedback would be about accessing the restart and settings menu. I understand that making it accessible through typing is part of the game's mechanics, and it's really cool that you thought of this. However, it can sometimes feel inconvenient when you want a quick restart. But it's definitely an outstanding game with great potential!

Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback!! I agree that making the options menu how I did would result in some limitations, so there’s definitely some things like that I would think about tweaking in hindsight. I also wanted to avoid people resetting the level on accident so I tried to hide it in a menu, though I know it adds a layer of complexity. Thanks again!
