Well done!
This is excellent! The game froze for me when I first hit 'Play', but after a reload it was smooth sailing and I had a lot of fun with it. The blend of mechanics is interesting and feels well-balanced, combat is fun, and the artwork is really nice. Good job to everyone involved :)
The art is awesome! And the music goes well with the action, I liked the "win some, lose some" mechanic after every round in the sense that the traps also hurt you.
One of the weapons I bought (one that threw purple balls at high speed" glitched at some point and stopped working, which was a bummer because it was the best weapon I had up until that point!
I liked the "more assembling required" message, thought it was a clever use of the theme :)
Great game, wish to see the full thing!
This is really cool, the art and music are great, and there are a lot of cool ideas here. The concept of building the level around you to both make the game harder and screw over the enemies is a really compelling one.
The visual presentation of everything overall is really good, although I think having more feedback when you take damage or hit enemies would really take it to another level (There were a few times I checked my health and realized I was on 1 heart without noticing I had even taken any damage). I also think, with how this game is structured, fixing the camera so that you always see the entire room would make it feel a lot better, then you could tween the camera over to the other room when you enter them. As it stands now if your near a wall you can get hit by traps/enemies offscreen while most of your screen is taken up by empty space.
Overall though, great job! I really enjoyed this one.
Great arena game with some roguelike elements. I like the graphics with the grid-style building system. I played for a couple of levels but then suddenly the game started slowing down and UI elements stopped appearing. Hopefully you can get that fixed after the jam.
Congrats on submitting!
The idea that the traps you put can both hurt you and the enemies is a nice touch! It’s interesting that to get stronger you need to also make the game a little bit harder for yourself!
Found some UI bugs that after some time the upgrades stopped appearing, but I still could click on them even if they were not visible, maybe you could look into that after the jam.
Had fun, congrats!
I have the next error

Love the concept and the art is phenomenal! I hit some bugs and didn't make it to the boss, but had a good time while I was playing regardless. A little extra information communicated through the UI would've been appreciated. GJ on the awesome game!! :)
Interesting mix of genres! I'm a sucker for well-crafted pixel art. Great presentation, the UI is clean and fun and the soundtrack is fire. My favorite part is the "fun feel" of the game. Despite a few bugs, it managed to catch my interest longer than expected. I also would've liked a little more on the web page. Great work overall!
