Short, fun little game with some very nice pixel art! I love the sound effects you have here!
The mixing bit is a little difficult to understand. It would be nice to some visual feedback that you are mixing the pot instead of just the audio cue after a few seconds of mixing has happened.
heard. was planning for that but sadly, I ran out of time. Thanks for playing though.
Nice entry! The UI and art style were super cool. I really like the aesthetic a lot. Was fun to put together a bunch of ingredients to see what I got. Keep it up :D
Cute idea but feels like it takes a long time for the potions to properly mix, even with the mouse control. And with the tip in the main page. Art looks good.
I like the idea and visual style.
The menu and tab organization is really cool!
Some tutorial would definitely help.
Also you might think of putting limits/boundaries on the cauldron, so you can move out the stick only in a single direction - up.
Otherwise interesting concept.
Good job!
Fun little idea but I was struggling to make anything. The overmixing was funny though and didn't expect that. I like the colors but the left side of the screen is dark and some of the ingredients blend in with it. The tabs were a bit clunky to click on but I liked the font choices!
Thank you for the feedback. I guess I over estimated the players here. perhaps a good tutorial is in need in these type of games. Thank you for playing.
Interesting take on the potion brewing. The tab idea is cool to unclutter the screen, but a little more imagery goes a long way! The explanations for the concepts could've been better! However, the "hands-on" approach to the process is very cool, which is the strong point of your game. Well done!
yes, a tutorial potion would have been a great way to introduce the player into the game. Thanks for playing anyway.
Cool game, I liked the concept of assembling ingredients together and then having to mix it with your mouse! Some things that would make this game better is more feedback so you know what is in the cauldron and if you are stirring the ingredients. Some other suggestions I have is putting pictures of the items and also making it so you can also drag them into the world which would make the game feel better
Thank you for playing, it seems that I do need to create more feedback. Like certain particle effect hovering above the cauldron so you know what's in it. That might have been lovely to see. As for the mixing, there should be a sound that plays when a whole mixed has been done. Though maybe I should put a dip sound when you reach that deep in. Hope you enjoyed.
Our games are Jam twins of some sort ;-) Haven't found the right incredients, it seems - game always says, that I have to mix some more - even though I was stirring like a hero ;-)
The the mixing sound changes when you mix just right. Perhaps next time, I should put a tip system that detects repeated failures next time. Allowing the player to be slowly better at the game. Anyways, Thank you for playing.
Figuring out the potion ingredients was fun, and the stirring sound was perfect haha
Thank you for playing. The stirring sound came from the idea that the player needs more information for when making. Thank you for validating that idea a of mine.
Fascinating although I had no idea what to do, but still I had some fun
well that's the important part.
Interesting idea, I think having a bit more feed back as you are making the potion would be good. But definitely a good start to an idea. Well done on getting it made.
Thank you. I wish that I added a bit more feedback myself, both audio/visual and actual information based. Like the stats of the potion you made yourself.
