The workers felt a bit too observant, like they have eyes in their back. Later, I then realized that they won't notice you if you stand still, which is a nice (Prophunt inspired?) touch. However, doing so isn't particularly fun given how slow they move around... All in all, I'd say my escape strategies didn't change much between props, which made the game feel a bit repetitive in the end. Being able to dive under shelves as the screwdriver was a cool touch, though! Also, I should probably add that I didn't finish the game: I stopped playing when I got to that crate on the shelf. The camera constantly clipping through the roof here made this part really annoying.
Thank you! Yes, prop hunt was our main inspiration.
Camera collision is one of those things that we ran out of time on. I may even have been able to do it in the last hour, had our build not died :(
Funny idea, nice voice and audio, but that camera getting through walls and boxes is veeeery uncomfortable! Consider trying phantom camera addon or something. And adding a simple menu to quit the game:)
Noticed some jittering in people's movement.
Really funny idea, in both senses of the word. I liked how the different collision sizes of the items made you rethink how you could escape, it's really unique!. One think I would've liked though is a springarm for the camera, given that the level is so tight, otherwise great job!
A nice little bit of tactical espionage action!
I liked how the objects each played differently, like the screwdriver being able to move underneath the shelves.
I had some issues with the camera, especially when playing as the "3 whole days of work" crate. I think the enemies are a bit too observant, it seems like they have eyes at the back of their heads and the only halfway decent way to avoid them was moving on/under the shelves where they cannot reach or have a ton of distance between them.
This was a fun idea! Got a little repetitive in the end but was cool how objects of different sizes had different abilities to move through things.
The game seems to freeze after I got the forklift out. I got the text saying I was successfully but then it just stalled there until I hit backspace to reset the game.
Regardless, nice work!
Good job, I had a good time playing, very fun, thanks for the game. ps. a spring arm can help with the camera getting inside stuff.
Unfortunately in the Mac build the Play button doesn't launch the game.
Credit and Quit buttons worked so that's very strange.
Anyway I hope you have a good Jam :)
Hey, sounds like you have an arm64 mac (M1/M2?). You need to enable Rosetta for the game, since the fmod libraries are x86-64 only.
I quite enjoyed this. It felt as though there strong influence from prophunt and I Am Bread. The graphics, audio and theme is great!
The camera would often be inside geometry or outside the level, making it hard to see what I was doing.
It would be great to see some replayability features like extra levels or distraction abilities.
