Game Description
Your co-worker left for the day and left you some circuit boards to solve. Can you figure them out?

How does your game tie into the theme?
Toggling a switch on the board can have the unintended consequence of breaking the board as the circuits on the boards are convoluted and sometimes parts of the logic are obstructed.

It was a fun little puzzle game. Maybe it was because I was tired, but I thought it would be nicer if there was a better way to track which traces connected with each other when they went to the other side of the board.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback. The hidden traces of the backside of the board could have been done better. We tried to hide parts of the board to make it more fitting to the theme but as a puzzle game it probably would have been better to show some hints where the traces on the bottom run to

I love the concept as I've also had a lot to do with logic circuits, but the game starts off far too difficult and most people won't understand or grasp it.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback. You're right. We were discussing adding a tutorial to make the game more accessible but time ran out before we were able to implement it.

Submitted

No, it doesn't need its own tutorial. You don't need to write a line of code. It just needs considerably easier levels at the beginning so that you have a difficulty curve and can find your way around the game.

Very cool!

Thank you! :-)

I really enjoyed this one! The puzzles were fun and challenging, the art was really good and it all fit together really well. Great entry overall! Hope you plan to add more puzzles. And sorry I broke a lot of boards.

Developer

Thank you for playing! I hope nobody gets fired over the broken boards though :-D

Neat game! I like electronics, and I like puzzles and you've managed to combine both elegantly. I didn't realise that there were hidden connections at first, but I thought they were a fun thing to figure out.

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it :-)

Awesome little puzzle game, one minor nitpick would be that it would be nice to see how the via's are connected. The second puzzle took me a few mins, but overall a nice game.

Developer

Thank you for playing! I was trying to lean a bit into the theme of unintended consequences. That's why you can't always trace the entire way of the signals to have a bit of guessing added to the gameplay

Cool and simple puzzle game! It took me a while to figure out the second (which I guess is a good thing!) and the last board I felt I was just guessing though as you can't see what is happening. Nice art!

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the puzzles. I was planning to add a little easter-egg to remove the cover in level 3 but then forgot to put it into the game :-D

Really enjoyed this! Clean and simple, the puzzles were well-designed, educational. Great work!

Are there any games that inspired this? I was getting The Witness vibes, but maybe because I have just been revisiting it recently with my partner. :)

Thank you for your comment! My wife and I also enjoyed The Witness! One inspiration for this game was Shenzhen I/O but mainly I got inspired by watching Retro Computer repair videos like Adrian's Digital Basement :-D

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. It's intuitive. Looks great. Works well. I would have played so many more puzzles.

Developer

Thank you for playing and thank you for that compliment! I'm glad you enjoyed it :-)

I enjoyed! I like this kind of puzzle game, so I was pretty enthused going into it, but as someone with little circuit board knowledge I was pretty confused at first by the little circle connection things. I managed to figure it out though, and beat the game :)

Nice work!!

Developer

Thanks for playing! We were thinking about putting in more explanation and maybe some tutorial boards but unfortunately ran out of time. I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
