Interesting idea! Not sure if I was moving too fast or my monitor was too dim, but I never saw the actual ghost figure, I just moved around, then seemingly randomly got caught. Maybe the visibility could have been increased a bit or an indicator could show when the ghost was near/ what direction they were in?
Very original idea!
Thank you. I really appreciate your feedback and hope to work on that after the jam.
Congrats on this entry ;)
Thank you.
Average experience waking up at 3am
Yes. It’s based on a true story.
I like the concept for the game! I think it would help if there was some sort of map or markers to show where the player has been or where the player needs to go. The light was a bit dim on my screen so I couldn’t really see ahead of where I was going cause the player was moving relatively fast. I like the sound effect for the zombie! Though making it directional or something might be helpful to the player for navigation. The art looks great! Overall, an interesting experience with potential. Great work!
Thank you very much for playing. It was my first time making pixel art. I really appreciate your feedback and hope to work on that after the jam.
Very nice simple game, you definitely captured the Haunted theme and Pursuer well! The zombie chasing you was a great touch but the lack of visibility was a bit harsh (in my opinion). In my early playthroughs I found myself running into the zombies constantly without even noticing he was there. I then started playing REALLY slow and it sorta ruined the pursuer concept. A small indicator maybe would've helped that? Otherwise well done!!
Thank you very much for playing. I really appreciate your feedback and hope to work on that after the jam.
Nice little game. Struggled to find the key for a while didn't realize it spawned in at a certain point. But I like tension of the zombie constantly chasing you. Only complaint would be that the visibility is a little low. I get that was probably the point but at the speed the player moves I found I had next to no time to react if the zombie was just in the way. Otherwise great work!
Thank you very much. I really appreciate your feedback.
Cool game. The art is simple but it is pretty cool. It was pretty fun to figure out where do I need to go while avoiding getting eaten by the zombie.
Thank you very much. I really appreciate your feedback.
Fun game, it had a real claustrophobic feeling and despite the simple art I felt real tension when trying to avoid the zombie for the 3rd or 4th time. Both art, audio and UI are simple and clear.
One thing I felt missing is some indication of where or how close the zombie is, either by visuals or audio, like extending the range you can see, improving visibility a little bit in the dark areas, relative position of the growls or some random noises that indicate in which direction and how close it might be. It was nice that it got me suddenly, but at times felt unfair that I had to real way to avoid it, just react quickly when it was already very close.
Thank you very much. I really appreciate your feedback and hope to work on that after the jam.
Good game, Love the sound design, controls feel a bit wonky, I'd make it so that the new input overtakes the old one (so you can change direction whenever you want, not having to stop pressing the button), but overall a great and fun experience!
Thank you very much for playing and for your very helpful feedback.
Nice game, a good short story, well done!
Thank You.
