Haha cute and funny! Now I wish I had a full fledged game playing as a dung beetle :-D. But why is there so much poop in the house and why is he disposing of them in the carpet?! And why does the poop become dice? So many unanswered questions!

Good job on your first entry ^^

Developer

well, those are questions I don’t have many answers too, lol.

I planned on adding a spawning mechanic, but I didn’t manage to do it

Thanks for playing!

Another Kafkian game! Yay! :)

Nice sokoban variation! Having dice roll at the end made me feel a bit uneasy as if I can loose despite all the effort... But I won :D From the second try though, due to a bug I think? If you roll up your dung to the final form already on the carpet - it fails to get it, it seems.

And nice idea to make dung rolling as a "work" George does :D

Developer

Hey!
yeah, you found I bug I didn't catch until the very end, if the dice is created when inside the carpet, it doesn't roll, you have to get it out and in again; I didn't have the time to fix that :(

With the dice, I was aiming for the wildcard, but the original idea was having to wait for your sister to get you food, wait for it to rot, eat it and have more dungs spawn so that would only affect the length of your "run"; for the prototype, I just put enough dungs to make it almst impossible to lose.

Thans for your comment!

Great job for your first gamejam! I enjoyed rolling the small poop ball into larger poop balls :D

Fun puzzle game! As someone already said, it requires some strategy to not push the blocks into corners so you can keep rolling them (this made me fail miserably in my first try hehehe). Good job! :)

Developer

thanks Alvaro!

It’s good to know people are having fun with such a simple idea.

Game jams are full of puzzle games, and I enjoyed this style of puzzle and the difficulty level. It was just right. However, I couldn't hold a button to move, so walking got tedious. Don't know what was up with the die rolling.

Developer

yeah, I meant to change the movement to something less tedious, specially because my fingers got tired when playtesting, but there was no time left.

I also lacked animations, other than the day passing at the “window” and that might have made the dice rolling more clear. Thanks for your feedback!

I had a lot of fun with this one. It was an interesting challenge to not push out the blocks to the edges so I could still use them. Might have been interesting if once you had a full block instead of not being able to move past a small one you could use it to push them. I did wish there was some audio, and what do you look like as a human?! :)

I’m so glad you had fun and I’ll take your recommendations if I ever get the chance to make this into a proper game.
