The art style immediately caught my attention. The pointillism approach is exceptional, and the way you integrated it into the game’s atmosphere is incredible. I also really loved the mix of 2D and 3D elements!

The ambiance perfectly aligns with the game’s concept, and the music added just the right level of immersion to deepen the gameplay experience.

However, it’s noticeable that the difficulty scaling primarily relies on increasing the number of objects to find. While this certainly makes the game more challenging by requiring players to manage more within a limited timeframe, I feel there’s room to expand on the gameplay mechanics.

For instance, you could introduce a puzzle mechanic involving objects that, when altered, affect the color of others, requiring players to interact in the correct order (with visual hints provided in the environment).

Let’s say we have three objects: one white, one yellow, and one red. Altering the first object’s color also changes the second. Changing the second affects the third, and changing the third cycles back to alter the first. Using this system, you could create a sequence of color adjustments that players need to solve to meet the level’s requirements.

I hope this idea makes sense! It might sound a little confusing haha.

Additionally, another suggestion is related to the game’s feel. When changing an object’s color, you could add some smoke particles, a small animation of the object twisting, and a sound effect. This would make the interaction much more satisfying.

One particularly impressive aspect you nailed is the use of larger dots on the walls in your pointillism art. Using smaller dots might have caused dizziness over time with the camera movement (and even affected me personally).

Overall, fantastic work! Congratulations on completing the project, and I wish you the best of luck!

Oh, I love me some "In the Hall of the Mountain King", especially speeding up as the time was ticking!
And I manage to finish the level on the last note, that was very cool =D

Although little finish screen letting you know there is nothing else when you enter the 100 door would be nice!
But other than that, very cool art and concept!

A fun little game with cool/nice, custom-made art. The idea was fun, especially with the two perspectives—so the theme was checked! Toward the end, it did get a bit repetitive, so I hope you’ll consider tweaking that. Maybe adding some extra gameplay elements, puzzles, or surprises could keep things fresh and engaging.

The music fit the atmosphere wonderfully, and the controls were very solid.
All in all, a great jam entry—keep up the great work! 😊

Amazing art and a well thought out game. It felt a bit repetitive after while though. I would have liked to see a little bit more of a puzzle element instead of simply find the picture and flip it.

But for a gamejam game an amazing submission.

I have no experience with UE so dont know i possible. but i always advice people to have a webbuild available. Usually i'm on linux so can play windows games, and beside that  i have to dowload the game, tell windows its ok to play, wait for my virus scanner to say its ok before i can play it so it a long time before i can play it.

This is awesome! I can tell, despite the game centering around color, you thought about making it playable for colorblind people too. A very avant garde experience unlike anything I've ever seen before. The flat 3D models reminded me of NanaOn-Sha's body of work, which maybe was intentional?

I'm not gonna pretend I didn't feel extremely tense hearing the classical music in the final level. I will say the timing needs to be adjusted a bit though, since my last 30 seconds were in pure silence. The game also crashed afterwards, so was there meant to be an ending?

A button which allows the player to cycle in reverse order might be neat, but I'm not sure if it would break the game's balancing. Perhaps an easy, medium, and hard mode with different timers? A full game like this with zany cutscenes would be very cool and could very have its own genre name.

thank you so much for playing through my submission and giving it your time. the game isnt meant to crash haha 😅 hopefully it was just the countdown timer hitting 0 or something as the final level does have an ending credits and button to return to the menu, my art style isnt inspired by NanaOn-Sha however on checking our styles are very similar and im glad to be compared to PaRappa the rapper anytime lol. i think it counts within the FPS genre although its more of an interact-em-up

thanks for leaving a comment with your feedback, i enjoyed reading your suggestions for the game and think a difficulty system and reverse order object switcheroo-ing are fun ideas >:3

Neat! Are there any other interact-em-ups of note that you looked at beforehand? And glad to hear.

Gave you a follow for potential future updates.

First of all, I want to say that I absolutely love the art you created for your game. It’s incredibly well done, with a recognizable and coherent style that makes great use of shading techniques. Amazing job!

That said, I did find the gameplay a bit repetitive at times. Both perspectives felt quite similar, and flipping through 100 images in the last level was a bit overwhelming for me. On the bright side, when I finally found the last image, I couldn't help but laugh and think, "There you are, you little trickster!" That moment of discovery was fun, even if it took me a while to find it tucked away in the corner.

This brings me to my main piece of feedback: With your artistic talent, I feel like you could create an even more engaging hidden object game by focusing less on just finding the right color and incorporating more clever hiding spots or interactive elements. I think it would really elevate the experience.

All in all, I think you’ve created a fantastic game that fits the theme perfectly. The color palette is spot on, and the fact that you completed it on time is an achievement in itself. Truly remarkable work—well done!

Thank you so much for playing through my submission! i'm really glad that you had fun with the game, i'm very happy that my little "bug trick" worked as that feeling of "found you!" was exactly what i was going for lol! i was considering adding a bonus perspective with a secret character "Green" after you beat both or one perspective but i had a family emergency on the last day so just made sure everything was working fine. The main reason why the last level was so overwhelming was so the perspectives could end on a climax, you are totally right tho lol, in hindsight i think i should have made it climactic by making the level particularly large or a maze instead of just putting down like 50 plants, like having the objects harder to get to or hidden well.

i'm relieved that my art was good enough haha, i did all the art myself within the Jam time limit so i drew them up then imported them into the game during development, doing the art *and* development was relatively new to me as i usually try and make the art within the unreal engine's systems but i'm really happy with the results and honestly i think ill try and include my art as much as possible in my further projects from now on

thank you for your feedback, it is highly appreciated <3 >:3
