- Seen a few of these kind of games, but this is really well done, never played one in 3D before. Also never had it chase my tower before as opposed to me. Good job!
How does your game relate to the theme?
Use a single Arrow to destroy an army of foes

That was fun although it got kind of repetitive after a while since enemies just walked in a straight line towards the portal, and flying through stronger ones felt spongey and unsatisfying since they took multiple hits to kill.
This is a cool idea and has a lot of potential but you might need to rethink the goal of the game. I think the focus should be on getting as many kills as possible as opposed to protecting some portal.
Maybe have the arrow lose momentum over time as it flies but gain momentum as it kills enemies.
edit: Oh and I forgot to mention that the game didn’t work in Firefox
I like the style of the game.
Preventing the player from overleveling is also a nice touch, keeps the game interesting.
Does arrow get faster the farther the mouse is away from it?(sometimes the arrow speeds up really fast suddenly)
Great game.
Nice idea and graphics, but the music is annoying I'm glad you have an option to turn it off.
But I detect an asset from Unity asset store, the leafless tree from "LowPoly Trees and Rocks" pack by greyRoad Studio
https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/vegetation/lowpoly-trees-and-rocks-8837...
Also some assets from the "Low Poly Pack" by Andrey Graphics like the cart on the mountain near the castle wall on witch the magic tower spawns

Is it allowed to use ready assets? isn't it cheating or something? other devs spent days making their own art but you took a shortcut.
Just to be clear for everyone, the use of third party assets is allowed in this jam :)
I loved it , maybe add some explosion and it will be really satisfying !
Mor Explosions! Thanks!
This is a really nice game. I had similar arrow/upgrades type system in my submitted game for the first game jam LOL so i know its quite a handy to fit in all those abilities, good work on that! Unfortunately some issue with my logging in to hyplay account is occuring so I can't place my name on the leaderboard. Visually appealing VFX/Post Process too! My only feedback is the enemy death juice, while I know it can be visually overstimulating if done too much, I think a bit more would go a long long way, I like the music pitch detail too! Overall, awesome game!
Thanks! Yeah It was a tough balance to keep the arrow visible and make it look pretty. Shoulda added it for the other spells tho. Thanks for the feedback!
No probs, happens to all of us (literally), congrats on the submission & all the best 😁
I loved the game's mechanics and leveling up with new abilities; it's so satisfying to go through the enemies and take them down. The only complaint I have is that the music gets a bit annoying after a while.
Thanks for feedback! lol yeah I added the option to turn it off in main menu.
Very cool! Unfortunately my frame rate was quite low, and my scores didn't seem to get uploaded to the leaderboard properly which hindered my experience.
I liked the feeling of getting stronger, and it made me want to keep playing to see how overpowered I could get.
One piece of feedback I have is that upgrades would feel even cooler if they interact more with eachother to create unique synergies. That's what makes upgrades in games like vampire survivors feel so cool. E.g. you get an upgrade that increases your number of arrows, and then that stacks with an upgrade that makes all your arrows leave a blazing trail. Maybe your game had some element of this, but I wasn't able to notice it (possibly because of my low frame rate).
Nice work!
Dang that sucks. Its running with WebGPU so probably something to do with that. What browser are you running in? Yeah the goal was to add more complimentary abilities like one that effects projectile Size. Needed more time haha. Thanks for feedback!
I was running in Google Chrome
Great entry . Loved the gameplay and upgrades. I was able to place on the leader board LOL. Made me so happy
Awesome! thanks for feedback!
This was insane fun! My high score was 677745. I’ve put a ton of time into playing vampire survivors type games and this scratches that itch really well. Only feedback I’d have is it would be nice if there was a minimap that showed where the enemies are with respect to your portal as I was caught off guard by a stream of guys on the bottom right side and lost a lot of health unexpectedly then. The experience suction for the orbs left behind felt a little weak to me and forced me to have to loop back around a lot to vacuum them up.
Super solid overall! I liked the movement and the ability upgrades (I love arcane arrow, maxed that one out!).
Nice Score!! Those were two things I had on the list! Mini-Map and upgradable Orb range. Thanks for the feedback!
ow yeah who would love a rougelike at a jam like this! if youre continuining this, ADD MORE JUICE! make it Vampire survivers level of addicting!
great job on the game!
Noted MORE JUICE! Thanks for the feedback!
The game does not load after logging, I just get a black screen :'( Did I miss something?
The game looks awesome in the screenshot!
Oh no! Its built with WebGPU. Should work on chrome/brave. Looks like there's issues with Firefox
Gave me some Vampire Survivors vibes, not bad! Unique take on it, too, as they're not chasing you, but chasing your tower!
Impressed with how many units you were able to get on screen and still maintain decent performance. Not bad!
Thanks! Yep Basically ended up being Ocs Must Die + Vampire Survivor.
I really enjoyed your game! It's really fun and very original. I don't remember playing a game like this before. The art, although simple, fits very well. The only thing I found a bit confusing at first was the enemies that deal damage; I didn't understand how to kill them at first, but then I figured it out. Congratulations on the game!
Yeah I need a proper Tutorial for sure. Thanks for playing!
