I feel inspired!
The music and washed out palette really sets the tone for this one. I did feel like one thing possessing all the dolls to do the puzzles. Bang up job! I'll never forgive you for making me kill that rabbit doll though.
The amount of content in this for a five day jam is impressive man. You can be proud of this one for sure.
Okay for the feedback for a post-jam version:
The portal gravity field thingy feels too slow. I’d double it then tone it back until it fits.
The linux version crashes for some reason.
Didn’t play with sound so dunno on that front, but maybe add different tracks based on which character you’re playing. The times I unmuted the same track was playing each time.
Glowing runestone effect when they break.
It was not obvious you should click on the other characters at first. I’d have the first puzzle be clicking on the second doll. Just make it the only thing you can do, and have a simple block push get the characters together.
No point in the runes slowing you down. There was no challenge to going back to the tree each time having to swap back and forth (I learned I didn’t have to do that but I thought I had to bring the rune to the crystal, not the tree).
So I guess, make it so you don’t accidentally think you should juggle the rune back to the tree while swapping characters. Maybe just require locking one of the dolls in somewhere in order to complete the puzzle then teleport the locked in one back to the tree when the rune is put back.
Clearer indicators what what does. The tree or circle should glow the color of the rune you’re carrying when you walk on top of the large circle, clearly indicating that something is happening.
I could keep going with details but solid, solid work!
Thanks for playing! I’ll take this feedback into account!
Wow... This game is an experience... I haven't played all the games yet, but out of every one that I've played, I sincerely want this one to win. 10/10 art, 10/10 music, 10/10 gameplay, 10/10 theme... It just absolutely nails everything perfectly. Thank you so much for this contribution, I can see this game legitimately taking off, bravo!!!
Thanks so much for the kind words!!
You're very welcome! Thank you for all the work you clearly put into this beautiful game :)
The art, the ambience, the narrative design and sound was awesome. Most of all I love the concept and the puzzles. I felt invested to see where the game was going and kept playing even though I didn't have too much time.
Everything was amazing
got softlocked at first in the second rune puzzle but good game overall.
Fixes incoming in the post-jam update. Glad you liked it!
That was amazing. And the music was beautiful.
I am yggdrasil!
Wow! Just wow!
From the amazing subtle keyboard to the amazing art and gameplay, this was amazing!
The gameplay puzzles were each awesome and added a new mechanic each time.
Great work!
Thank you very much!
This was really good! I think it just might win!
I simply love it. Visuals, music, game feel, everything.
I'm so glad you liked it! Thanks!
Great! I went looking for "something missing" for quite a bit, but picking up the rune and dropping it again made the game progress. All in all, a game with a very nice feel.
Oops! If you tried to get the dialogue multiple times it would've went on to tell you "someone" is missing, you have to use the correct doll to make the sacrifice. Thanks for the feedback!
Edit: Redid the tips to say "Someone is missing" the first time to avoid confusion, this and more fixes coming after the jam concludes!
Love the vibes. Really fits the theme of the jam pretty well.
Greeeeeaaaaaaaat Gaaaaamee!!!!!
