Plays well, an innovative idea.
Plays well, an innovative idea.
Nicely implemented - very fun movement mechanic. Made me so happy to finish :D Great work!
A great, original puzzle platformer idea, I was just really bad at it. I cycled through so many cards lol
Nice idea but the cards wrecked me - I liked what you were trying to do but would have loved something to help out when all cards were "bad". Nice job.
Very cool concept, the RNG made it very hard, took 21 cards to get through level 1!
Starting with 0 charge and getting charge required cards in the first level was also frustrating.
Art style was consistent and very plesant in the game.
Very cute puzzle game! The art is nice! Using all the left 0 charge cards in the beginning was my go to strategy to get new ones XD
Got softlocked and never gained exec charge. Also my cards heavily weighted to go left :D
I do like the idea though
Fun game. I’m not sure how you get energy so a lot of cards I had to pass on until I got some. Great job!
I looked into the soft locking, and the cards are intentionally done like this. Sometimes you need to play 1 or more cards that may not be helpful to get more useful cards. It isn't intended to be a game where you can move freely but instead use what you have. So if you need to move left or just jump, instead of moving right, then that is it. On the third and fourth level it does suck to not have the right cards
the basic mechanics were great, but I felt the cards weer very much too random and ended up in a situation without any energy nor coins.
I too felt that it is very much a luck-of-the-draw thing... I wanted to have at least a bit more control over which cards could be played per level (and yes that was in my document) but with the theft of my work laptop bag (which also included some idea's) I had to make decisions.
very cute game with crazy addictive mechanic, but too easy to softlock the levels. if the deck was predetermined per level, or designed by the user, or if there was a free redraw if your energy is 0 and you only have energy movement cards. also no criss cross card hehe.
Art style was very cute and drew me in immediately!
Ended up getting soft locked in a situation where I had no energy and no coins and every card required energy. I'd have some kind of check to see if the player has the chance to make a choice and end the game if they can't, or make it so that there's always 1 card in the hand that costs 0 energy so they always have an option even if it's not great.
This definitely has potential to expand and grow!
I LOVE this concept. However I do feel in the beginning theres a bit too many cards not useful at all and you just spend your time redrawing and using coins. I do love the "programmers" concept though ^_^
