I ran into three issues. First, hardware acceleration must be turned on in order for anything to show up. Not really your fault. I had to turn it off due to a bug with Facebook and my graphics card. Once I got it running, the game had a very nice feel to it. Controls were smooth, easy to play, easy to recognize the ships, music and sound effects fit. Died once. On my second play though, the ships kept flying off the planet for some reason. One minute I'm heading right towards them, the next they float away from the planet's surface. That probably led to the third bug. After this happened to about 6 different ships, the game decided to quit spawning ships. I just about gave up and restarted the game, but after about a whole minute, finally a few more ships appeared. Played another few times and finally won. Fun little game, just not sure about those weird issues...

Thanks for the feedback! Do you mean hardware acceleration in the browser? I'd be interested to know more about that as I really liked being able to publish the game to WebGL (my first time using WebGL in the browser) and I'd like to do more of that.
I have also noticed the ships flying off the surface when they hit the serpent or a low piece of land. That whole mechanic was kinda rushed so and I think the colliders are messing with my spherical gravity code. I've already done some retooling and I'll keep working on it. No Flying Dutchman in my game :-) Thanks again for the detailed write-up.
This is a fun game, especially for a game jam, the models are also cool as well, awesome job :D, my only complaint would be that the ships are hard to identify, at first I thought that the red ships dealt damage, so I avoided them, what I would do, is make the flags of the blue ships [the ones who deal damage] pirate flags, with a skull and cross bones, and make the red ships [ones that heal you] have hearts on the flag, imo that would make them easier to identify, but other then that it is a great game, awesome job :D
Amazing, definitely on point with the theme and I actually learned a bit about the story of Jormungandr recently in my big mythology book that was kindly left in the house I bought. It was short, but very sweet, you did a great job!! <3
Theme could not of been more on point.
3d was nice.
Short story in game.
Felt like I was eating ships and ruling the oceans.
Music and sound effect selection appropriate.
Fun little game! It took me a couple of tries to learn what all of the ships did health wise (also your controls say Q and D when it's A and D, small nitpick :P ) really nice take on the snake clone eating its own tail thing in 3D, works really well! Graphics were nice, the controls were pretty decent and the music definitely had a seafaring feel to it. Nice job :)
Interesting take on the snake game type. A full 3d planet with a snake that's bound to it's circumference is a crazy concept. Nice graphics, and interesting gameplay, I died my first time playing because I didn't realize which ships hurt me, completed the game on my second try! Anyway I rated it! Good job :)
I think the difference between the ships may need to be more clear. Maybe the base of the boats different colors as well? Also, I saw a boat drive up onto land which I don't think should happen haha Great work though!
Very nice game bro! Never thought I'd see a full on 3d snake game lol! Good job my man
That a cool balance of eating things that deal damage and some giving health, I think different objects would be nice though, making it more clear that certain things give health back
nice game :D similar in concept as mine but a different take. enjoyed it
This is a cool concept. The controls are a little laggy, but that might just be the web port, or even my computer. Other than that, the game was fun! Good work!
