Just leaving some reviews on games I didn't get to during the jam time, but this is really cute! I love the limited palette pixel art aesthetic. The game is simple and short, but I don't view that as a bad thing. However, I think it would be cool to have additional levels added as well!
Great presentation! The sprites were really nicely done, and the music went well with it. The building fixing animation is very nice too. Good job!
Thank you!!
Great retro visuals and sound.
I didn't enjoy the controls, I would have preferred to be locked to the grid.
Overall, well done :)
Thank you for your feedback! Definitely something I want to try and implement!
Was a bit confused, going to try it on a Gameboy Emulator next time. The sprites, tiles and sound is fantastic though!
Thank you!! Will see if I can make the "How To Play" screen more clearer on the goal, thanks again for the feedback!
Gameplay is short and the bad kaiju behaviour a bit too random, but other than that the retro style is nailed both visually and sound-wise. Maybe get the timer showing on screen, but with a few more levels could become a nice game to play on the go.
Thank you for your feedback!!
Love the style and the game is definitely a new concept that I didn't think of!
Thank you!!
I really enjoyed the theme and style! The gameplay was a bit frustrating, but with some tweaks it would be a quite fun game! 😊
Thank you for your feedback!!
I really think the timer should have been visible, and it's really annoying when you keep getting yelled at for stepping on the buildings. Maybe they could have just blocked the player instead of punishing them.
Keep up the good work!
I definitely want to look into making the timer visible next time. Thank you for the feedback!!
On my first run, I had everything saved and then at the last second, the top building got destroyed and i got body blocked, On the second attempt I got it all though, this was fun! I enjoyed the music too, it added a good tension to game.
Thank you for the feedback!!
Awesome graphics and sound! Fun little game, but the movement was difficult. I found myself stepping onto the city a lot without meaning to. Overall, though, nicely done!
Thank you for the feedback!!
Love the game boy aesthetic for this one!
Thank you!!
Very adorable concept! Can see potential for this one for more expansion! The Art is really pretty and the minimal sounds are cute, The dialogue options were a nice addition! I did run into a bug were if i move or touch the screen while the intro is playing at the beginning of the calamari and dino interaction the game does not start.
But overall great game!
Thank you for this feedback! I'll be sure to keep this in mind and see if I can find a way to fix this!
Great work! I really liked the feel of this game - the graphics were great, the sounds fit in really well, the gameplay was nice and simple, and it all came together really nicely for a complete experience. I appreciated the little dialogue options too; it gave some personality to the game, and I loved the option to just walk off and not help! It was a fun little experience, so well done!
Thank you!!
