Congrats on finishing your first game! Everybody has to start somewhere, keep on working at it!
Cool concept and good visuals, but the game would feel better with some sfxs.
I love it! The feel of the gameplay and how fast everything controls is great. The presentation is nice too, I like the visuals. The theme is also implemented very well. Adding a button to zoom the camera out a little would have been nice. Obviously as you said some music and sound effects too and also some kind of score system to keep track of how well you did in a try and keep improving (ideally with an online leaderboard, but of course there was little time for it.
Good job overall :)
Great game..
Great game..
Nice concept. I feel like the character moves too fast compared to the enemies, so I tended to get lost while shooting at them, but it's a very interesting idea for a game. Music and SFX would help it quite a bit.
Very interesting take on the theme. Love the good movement...though it would be nice perhaps that the ship slowed down (Yeah I know space doesn't cause slowdown :D) a bit after shots...It does get frantic, but when you figure out you can use meteors to hold you in place, it gets better :D UI does feel a bit flunky at points, but that to me is not really part of gameplay.
Cool game!
Very cool mechanic that not only makes for interesting gameplay, but also makes sense in sense in the context of your narrative. The recoil is satisfyingly responsive, but the FOV of the camera makes it difficult to maneuver around the ever-changing space, so I found myself crashing into rocks quite frequently. Back that up a bit, add some music/sound, and you've got yourself an engaging arcade game with plenty of potential.
Good work, and good luck! :D

Congratulations for completing and submitting your first game! I think both the concept and the presentation have a lot of potential to improve. Once you've improved the controls and feel of the game, add polish to make your game really shine! Don't forget to include visual cues of when you get damage, add a score indicator and some more 'juice'.
Great idea and also very well executed, I just think it lacks some polish.
Excellent submissions! I really liked using the blaster fire to move the ship around. Some sound would be good. Also, I could wedge myself into the corner and just blast enemies. Maybe make the level bounds infinite or procedural? But super fun game to play. Great job!
This was fun! I'd definitely recommend going back and adding sound. The recoil was stronger than expected, but I think it works!
thanks! i plan to do so when i get time, aswell as a proper difficulty curve on enemies spawn rate.
I enjoyed playing this, the core mechanic is fun!
thanks! im glad you had fun
Neat concept! It was a bit janky sometimes and some audio would be good (music for atmosphere + SFX) but it's definitely got promise.
thanks dude! i plan to fix it soon aswell as add music, sfx and a proper difficulty curve
