I was thinking the second, where you know you won or lost and want to make the skeleton go faster.

But now that you said it, the idea of also being able to rewind time, to better understand why enemies moved in a particular way could be an interesting feature, especially in the case of bigger maps with multiple enemy interactions

Fun game. I really liked the aesthetic with the purple trail and purple lasers against the black. I liked the on-screen buttons as well, they gave it an old "handheld game machine" feel. The shooting felt good and the dodging, I think the enemy ships took a bit too long to appear, I actually thought the game was only asteroids first, but I saw the thumbnail here and went back to also see the enemy ships. Very good and polished idea.

Interesting concept! I like seeing games where you rotate a specific part of the stage, instead of the whole stage. It can create nice puzzles. I really liked the way the vision was obscured and the general atmosphere. There were some issues with the character getting stuck in the environment, but with some polish this can turn into a really cool game

Nice little game. It actually got tricky on a few spots. I had some issues where the ball was clipping with the ground. Nice work on the UI and music as well

Nice game, I managed to get the diamond! I liked the fact that you had to interact with blocks and let them squash you, when in most other gravity games, a block falling on you means gameover. Nicely designed puzzles

Fun idea, made it to 12. I liked how the planets had different sizes. Made it trickier to calculate. The idea has a lot of potential, maybe a speedrush mode where you have only a few seconds on each planet. Also a fast restart button would be cool. Very nice game

Amazing concept! You took the classic path rotation genre, and really made it unique with the addition of enemies. I can imagine levels where you create multiple paths and try to calculate your health at each point to see if you'll be able to make it. I also really liked how one solution was about blocking an enemy path, to force them to go for the scorpion instead. The sound effects and music were also great.

I think a feature where you can "fast-forward" the little skeleton would be great. Loved the game.

Interesting game. It took me a bit to understand that the blockers only rotate when you boost. Reminded me of the old school Lunar Lander games. I didn't mind the fixed angles on rotations after I got used to it, but yeah free turning would probably make it more enjoyable (though much easier)

Woo 738m, let's gooo! Very nice concept for a game. It can evolve a lot by having bounce targets on the ground, enemies that try to block you, maybe upgrades. There's a lot of places you can go with it.

Nice concept for a game. It would be cool to have a button that makes the cars go faster after the puzzle is solved. You could have puzzles where different types of cars must be led to different lanes, or cars that require wider lanes. The concept seems to be able to go many different ways, so there's potential there.

I like the idea of the narration being about the creation of the game. Your excitement as you got each part of the game to work came through those messages. I look forward to seeing you continue to work on your games!

Thank you for your review!

I really like the idea of different colour matches, giving different bonuses. I might end up using that!

Thank you for your review! I'm really happy that you noticed what I was going for with the characters, with Q being a classic tutorial explainer, while E reacting to the absurdity.

The time limit and shift targets were actually put in the last few hours of the jam when I realized that the game didn't have much to keep you going (The freeplay version of the game was how it was originally). So the balance of the shift targets and time limits is a bit out of wack. After the gamejam I will try to make the rotation faster and "punchier" and the visuals of tile breaking to feel better, as those seem to be the most common criticisms. Thank you for playing!

Made it to 110! Nice idea, after I got the hang of it, it gets much easier and powerups start stacking around you. Music and SFX would benefit it a lot. Pretty addicting fun game.

Interesting concept. An fps where you can only change weapons/grenades through slot machines would be really cool to go through. This is still a very early version, but you have something unique here.

Very unique aiming idea. I absolutely loved the dialogue and characters (it's not my fault all the buildings are in the way Commander!). With some polish this could be a really good game. Different levels, win/loss conditions. Especially more story, I absolutely loved the writing. Great potential!

Really cool game. I really liked the closeup of the camera, along with the music it made you really get the feeling of being surrounded by enemies. Also the dialogue in the beginning was really nice. It took me a bit to realise that I shouldn't try to attack enemies but defend against the rockets, but after that the shooting actually felt really good. I didn't mind the inverted controls, but the option on the new version will be great to have.

Now I want to watch Star Wars again!

Cute little game! Made it to 80 meters. The shields were a nice twist, and the music choice was excellent.

So good! I made it to lap 14. After a point I was playing piano with my keyboard numbers. Very polished, great aesthetic and the music and SFX work great. Great game

Very funny game. I almost made it past the donut section. I loved the aesthetic, and the fun characters, we all need supportive avocado in our lives! Some goofy music would really make the game shine. Nice work!

Really good and tough puzzle solutions. I liked that some of them required the rotating mechanic, while others required you to do some good platforming. Some music would really liven it up also. With some polish a full version of this has a lot of potential. Very cool!

Fun game. The shooting felt good and I liked the idea of the swapping weapons. Lining up a ton of guys and shooting with everything felt really good, and nice combo meter UI. I managed to only get to the second door, but it was a fun time

Very smart idea! I managed to get about half the stars, but every time I would get a perfect round it felt amazing. The undo button was great, the UI elements were very polished. This is probably the most complete game I've played in the gamejam. Absolutely brilliant.

Really nice pushing game. I liked the different mechanics of each level, like the breakable walls, and the change in rotation. I also liked the UI indication when a powerup was about to appear The AI was also good and didn't fall on its own at any point. Really good and polished game

Nice little game. The last one was a rough, but I got it. Fun idea to do a rotate puzzle with tilesets.

Loved it! I always felt I had a good control of my ship. I really liked the mission variety (would be cool if there was something to collect during the asteroids) and the upgrade shop in the end. I almost made it to the end, but the game's very addicting.

I was absolutely panicking, hitting random numbers as the asteroid was moving closer. What an interesting idea. I figured out a good tactic is to go towards a target, and have already inputted some alternative "juke" direction that you hit when you see an asteroid. I almost managed to get the third goal. Really cool concept, and it showed me I don't remember degrees as well as I thought!

Thank you for your response! I have notified you on discord.

This wasn't to shame anyone or bring any negative repercussions, just wanted to get the message out there.

Hi! I am really enjoying my first gamejam, experiencing all the interesting games that people made and I love hearing what people have to say about my game, the good and the bad! But I noticed some posters spamming multiple copy-pasted single line reviews within minutes.

I have no issue with reviewing games to give more exposure to your own game, but please try to at least play the great games that have been posted here, and give your honest opinion on what you liked or disliked, instead of spamming. It feels like that goes against the spirit of the gamejam. This is all for us to enjoy ourselves and become better gamedevs after all!

Thank you, and enjoy yourselves!

The swinging felt so satisfying!  It took me a bit to realize I need to actually point to the target to grab them, but after that the game really clicked. Very fun gameplay, and a lot of polish with the music and SFX. Having a combo notification was also really cool.

Nice idea and aesthetic, unfortunately picking up objects was a bit too finicky. I feel with some gameplay polish this could be a pretty good concept. I also liked the music choice.

Fun little game. I bet it would be fun to share the controller between two people, since the controls are made for each half of the controller. I also really liked the aesthetic and music.

Nice little game. Going for the stars was fun, but I also really liked making huge jumps to go through the level fast. A speedrun of the game could be very fun! I would have liked if you could change the speed of your current meteor, as some were a bit too slow. Really nice idea.

Nice concept! I really liked how you have both a resource for boosting and a resource for turning time (from what I understand). The moment I realised that you don't keep any previous velocity when you boost, the game really clicked for me. Very nice puzzles

Nice simple concept. I could see it expanded with different kind of balls (bouncy, heavier etc). Cool starting idea. One "issue" I had was that I got a level that was basically solved without rotating anything.

Fun game! Total chaos in the kitchen. After I realised that I don't have to keep holding Q and E for the rotation, the gameplay really clicked and I was able to traverse through the kitchen. Also really cool aesthetics and song. Really nice stuff!

Very good puzzle game. I loved the aesthetic and SFX you used, very cute. Walking off the platforms to change gravity is a very unique spin on the gravity changing games. Really cool concept.

Nice idea. I liked the idea of the mushroom rotating the floor with the ceiling. You could build levels around that, by having puzzles on both levels before reaching the door. Really cool stuff.

Also I kind of cheated in the last level and went through the lava for the door, since it's so close :p
