Your module is awesome! We loved what you decided to do at every point of the module and we thought it was incredibly easy to follow! Your choice in art also was so vivid in relation to the setting and story you have presented here! READ THIS!!

I really enjoyed The Red River Run, it's a well written and organized adventure.  The river travel mechanics on the back of a Ooze are fantastic.  It's got a lot of content for the page limit, definitely something I'd run at my table.  I know this probably doesn't matter, but man I love the title font and color on the front cover :)

Well done, well done.

Loved your layout! A midwestern spin on a fantasy world was something I was not expecting to see but here we are! I was trying to confirm in the writing if the adventurers are going down the river during the festival proper, or before it because the riverlanders wanted the problem to be solved before it started, but I couldn’t find any conclusive info on that. I would lean towards the adventure happening during the run! The shift from festival to serious problem is a lot more attractive to me :) Rivers are definitely not done enough justice, specially considering their importance in pre-industrial civilizations. Nice work!

Well laid out and feels like a real place in the new world! I'd love to see this amp up the frontier vibes even harder .

I always prefer simpler hand drawn maps to wonderdraftesque stuff but it works well here!

Wonderful whimsy, especially the folk sayings and good use of art. I love this river rafting inspiration and will be using the rafting ooze travel/rapids mechanic.

A river crawl—what a great idea! Also love the lore you've developed here. Good stuff!

Thank you for checking it out. Also, I love the title page for your entry. It reminds me of a beer from Sweetwater Brewing called Guide Beer. Best enjoyed with friends and on the river.

A rivercrawl rescue mission is a super cool idea! You’ve got an Americas vibe to this, too, which is neat to see in a fantasy game. And as a nonbinary person, I love that you included one! Yay, Clover!

Glad you liked it, and it is always awesome to feel included.

Love the flavor you've put into this world. Has a wild west frontier, floating down the Mississippi vibe that feels lived in. Super cool!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the kind words, that was totally the vibe I was going for.

Slots nicely in the Knave rules, and the three acts give a nice variety. Looks fun to run! Could be just me but it took me a while to understand what this ooze was about.

Thank you for the review! I certainly struggled to come up with a way to have white water rafting in a fantasy setting haha. It is an odd concept but I liked what I came up with.

Yeah I think its great! I think I was just missing a small explanation on how these rafts work.

I love the idea of tectonic plate titans as gods. That's such a cool idea. The whole setting is really evocative.

It would be nice if the river map had an indication which way was upstream. I assume the caves are downstream from River Hop, but I was never quite sure.

Thanks for checking it out. Shame I missed adding an indicator for the river flow, seem so obvious now!
