Incredibly interesting and evocative read! The mechanics big and small in this module offer a lot of intricacies and replayability in your session. But, that doesn't even touch the paintings of this world written here. READ THIS!!
Wow! Thanks for the high praise!

The side view map you did is really good, helped me really picture the environment. I think you did a good job of incorporating multiple paths forward as others have stated. Setting feels vast from the narrative you provided. I enjoyed reading it.
Liked how you consider entirely non-agressive routes to exploring the place, and the theme of bees and honey was something I wasn’t expecting to work, but it does! Would’ve loved to know more about Daveeni and the rivalry that took place. For such a crucial character, I would’ve loved to know more!
Thanks for the feedback!
I'm glad you noticed the non-combat possibility. We also felt that a high level party that chooses to fly will have to deal with bees, if they teleport they show up in the courtyard as interlopers surrounded by enemies!
As for the story of the rivalry, that might be something we add... But we're glad you were invested in the story wanting more!
This is a good one. I love the initiate or interloper mechanic. Its simple but makes absolute sense in the story. Well done. One of my faves.
Thanks for the feedback!
We thought that the first choice the players make should have consequences for the adventure.
Such a creative adventure centered around giant bees. I just have one question: How do I tame a ride a giant bee? :)
Earn the relic of the Queen Bee Mask for a start...
wonderfully bizarre, beautify laid out and a pleasure to read. I particularly loved the giant bee graveyard, and the pangolin. I feel like with the bee theme you might have missed a trick by not having a hex grid map, but that's mostly for my own amusement!
Thanks for the feedback!
I thought of that, but I figured the jungle valley was a hex one could place in their campaign, with the temple being the most interesting thing one could find.
The map and location ideas are second to none! Very evocative!
We appreciate the feedback!
This looks great! It also pairs well with Honey! (another bee contest entry).
Thanks!
I saw Honey! as well and thought that ours could lead into theirs!
It looks like we both had bees on the brain!
Great job with this, I really like the setting you presented.
One of my prompts was: "a pyramid that makes enraging honey." So I started reading about honey, bees, and ancient Egypt. Then I found out about mad honey from the giant Himalayan bees... and here we are!
Honeypunks of the world, stick together! If you place the honeyed badlands of "The Knacker's Yard" somewhere near The Valley of Stin(k)ing Death and The Octarine Flower Lands, you'd have a sweet campaign going.
Nice work, Flaming Brain.
"Honeypunk!"
Did we just invent a new genre?
We hope you enjoy our module!
