Congrats on completing your first Godot game! I had fun playing it on stream with ya.
A great game! I enjoyed the idea of having appease a meter goblin *relatable!!*
Those spikes.....
Keep jamming!
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed
Congratulations, you two, on this awesome submission for the jam! You nailed the theme, the art is beautifully charming and the platform mechanics are both challenging and intuitive! I was even able to get all the coins! I love the victory screen, too! The exasperated look on the meter goblin , Bill's little smile... perfect :D
That said, I am VERY glad you did not include a death counter :P It was a privilege to help and I look forward to seeing what you put together in the future! Keep jammin' my friends!
Thanks for playing Lance! In hindsight, I should have put "You win" somewhere. I know older games put "Game over" win or lose lol. So this tripped people up a little.
You were a really big help. Thank you!
It was a great team effort between R. Wilson and I. On breaks at work we have discussed doing more, and adding in some things we did not have time for.
Thanks for playing!
For some reason I could only move left? Maybe I missed something sorry lol
I didn't have any issues during my playthrough. May I ask what browser and OS you are running? Those might impact performance in a web build, apparently. As an example, I learned that not all keyboard inputs process properly when a friend was running the web build in linux.
Sorry, I wrote the controls at like 3 am and should have been more careful. It was the regular wasd controls but I put left in twice, but you should be able to move left and right. Glad you enjoyed it!
I realize now that it was my fault, I recently installed a chrome extension that messed with my inputs. Nice game!
Fun game! I especially enjoyed the art and music. Thanks for sharing your development experience; it reminded me to set up Git and a few other tools before the start of the next game jam and to get into the learning zone with a nice cup of coffee. Looks like you learned a lot throughout this jam. Great entry!
Thank you! Yes, I also have to start using some sort of version control, git, or something. Thanks for playing!
Very fun game! if you continue this project i'd like to see how the inventory slots are implemented.
Thank you for your feedback! Glad you had fun!
i really liked the art style and i liked that you worked the theme into the lore :) very creative and impressive. my housemate said she wanted the ending to be more celebratory
Thank you for your amazing feedback! My teammate and I are talking about doing something more with this project. I will keep that in mind if we do! Im glad you and your housemate enjoyed it!
Fun experience! Especially loved the rotation signs. Very reminiscent of old school games, an acquired taste. The UI could be better, the game could also use a volume slider. Theme felt a bit forced but that doesn't matter. The devlogs were a fun peak into what went on behind the scenes. Overall, the game is fine. Definitely could be a bit more forgiving though, and a little bit of input feedback goes a long way.
Feedback, positive and negative, or just general feedback of any kind is always welcome! Thank you for taking the time to play the game, and leave feedback!
