I really enjoyed this game! Simple and fun. The puzzle was great and i was super happy when I won!
Keep jamming!!

To me, this game really showcases how to build a very fun, engaging game with minimalist pixel art. Once I figured out the controls, I very much enjoyed the puzzle mechanics. Way to show off how to do a lot with simple animations! With enough iteration and expansion, I could see buying this.

I won! Very cool array of game mechanics are on display here. I like the little running animation. The puzzle was intricate and interesting. It took me several tries, which is fine, but I do wish there was a faster way to reset the level. I had to return to the title screen often to do a full game reset. I kept soft-locking the game.

I enjoyed the music and the sound effects. They fit the theme of the game well and weren't overbearing. Great game jam entry, I hope to see more from you!

This was a very polished game for the jam. Great job on all aspects of the game; it gave me major Zelda vibes and I enjoyed the puzzles. Thank you for your submission! A minimap would have made the layout a little less confusing, but that's a preference of course :)

An excellent entry for the jam!  You nailed the theme and I had a lot of fun figuring out the rules and solving the puzzles!  Took a bit to figure out that the sword wasn't for smacking down the bats :)

Crisp looking game. It could've been on a Gameboy and I wouldn't have suspected a thing. I was having trouble with getting the right items and having to restart the game to use them in the right places, but the controls and item pickups felt very professional

very good visuals and music and sound effects and animations, really enjoyed it feels very complete! i liked the sprite design as well
i thought the sword was for combat at the start, maybe a different tool sprite would have been better like a hoe or something rather than a melee weapon. also a bat attacked me right as i came down the stairs
