WOWOWOOWOWOOWWOW. Wow. wow. Yeah that was really beautiful all the way through! Do you do tutorials on making environments that look great? Because you should consider it. Enough flattery! Let me tell you the things!

What I loved:

  • Gorgeous, beautiful aesthetics. This was a eye candy experience. Even more kudos for having it all run so smoothly. I do wonder how a standalone version of this would run!
  • Sound design fit the vibe. Nothing jarring or imbalanced came out when listening to the cats in terms of volume. I'm also impressed with the message and voice acting added into this game!
  • It's a complete experience that followed the theme in a unique way. Exploring all aspects of love!
  • I love dogs and I'm indifferent to cats. Your game made me love cats.

Some Suggestions:

  • Sprint or teleportation would have been nice. I think adding these might go against the game feel of a casual stroll through a beautiful meadow, but there were times it could have helped me progress a little faster when I missed a cat or two.

What a wonderful entry. It's cute and full of wonderful messages. This one was a real treat, so thank you for your hard work and a great submission. You've made me want to step up my game when it comes to aesthetics.

This means a lot coming from you!
Thank you for hosting the VR Jam, it was refreshing to create something new!

I view virtual reality as ART so I always try to focus on the aesthetics and the message first.
Nice that you liked my cat illustrations, these are inspired by street cats of Latvia.
But I'm a dog person too! :D
I apreciate that you noticed the different cat voices and the music! Did you notice the 3D water stream sound following you when near it?
If you suggest, i will add sprint as an option for those who need it.
Maybe I really should consider making tutorials, thank you for encouraging me! :)

Thank you again for appreciating my work!

The stream noise and the fish swimming in it! The amount of detail shoved into this was astounding. Your approach of focusing on art first within VR experiences is incredibly smart. It really helps bring out the immersion and wonder.

Really nice looking game, lots of effects and nice audio complements each other. Although listening to the cats was entertaining, I did feel it was lacking more interactions and gameplay elements to keep me interested.

Appreciate the work gone into the look & feel though (however, I think the Quest 2 would probably choke rendering all that). Really cute and relaxing experience though...

Looks amazing. The volumetrics were really spectacular. I wonder if the bits of love wisdom were produced by an LLM. I think I will be wondering that kind of thing for the rest of my life, though. I am suspicious of everything. I definitely used an LLM to help me code up stuff for mine, and for some text on the signage I put in mine. So, obviously I'm not against it. Just a thought I'd share. I wonder if there are people that would be turned off by an experience if they knew or had a suspicion that the text was AI generated... It was an enjoyable experience. Wish, as another pointed out, that there was a sprint button. Great job.

A tremendously gorgeous environment that was a pleasure to explore.  I liked the butterflies, falling leaves and flowers moving in the wind a lot.  The waterfall was also a very nice touch.  Having a bit of plot to the Cat denizens was nice, but 'talking' to them felt more incidental than required.  I wonder if you could have animated their eyes to look at us to involve us more, but not sure how that would work with 2d/sprites.  The lack of any interactions with any objects was maybe the only detractor, as I felt like I had nothing to do beyond wandering... but wandering was a joy to behold, and well within the charming & romantic themes of the Jam.  Great job!

Fantastic adventure for all cat lovers and beyond. Very nice level design, whenever I reached one cat I could see where the next one was or the path to the next cat. The nature was beautiful but perhaps some of the leaves shaders were not ready for VR. The best visual moment was the cat family by the campfire, very sweet. The cat in the swamp and the cat in the cave were also very atmospheric. It was worth collecting all the hearts, the fireworks were great ;). Overall a nice slow-paced cozy walking sim with simple gameplay mechanics like in The First Tree. I challenge new players to find the fish ;)

Chill walking around a beautiful area. Fireworks at the end were a nice touch 👍🏻

I would suggest to add sprinting to make movement more dynamic 😇

I got hit on by a cat. Those were little profound snippets of LOVE wisdom. It was pretty simple to figure out what to do, I wish there were some more interactions available to the player. The environment was nice and the fireworks special effects were great!
