Awesome. I glad someone got to the boss. I had been worried that it might have been too much since I was the main person testing the level itself.  I'm really glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

It was built at 64x64 and upscaled to 512x512. It all looks so smooth because I used a decent frame rate with sub-pixel movement which kind of borked the whole low rez look and feel a bit.

Very cool game. Lots of fun. Mechanics feel good. The online leader board is awesome to have in a jam game. Multiple worlds and everything is nuts too. Looks like a ton of effort went into it.

Game is fun. A bit slow but can get pretty fast once you get used to it. Music fits crawling around as a slug. Graphics are simple but defined. Looks good. Took me a minute to notice the slug trail and the checkpoints.

Thank for the feedback. I'm not entirely sure how I'd go about making it more satisfying. Maybe if I made the exploding more impactful it'd help. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I hadn't even considered sub-pixel movement to be an issue. I can see how it could be taken as against the spirit of the jam. I had just gone that way to keep everything responsive and smooth. I'll keep it in mind for next year.

Pretty fun and relaxing. Took a bit to understand everything but wasn't too bad. Art looks great and everything is distinct and recognizable. Cutting back the darkness and adjusting based off what gets revealed was fun. The game starts slow but can get pretty fast once you get a bunch of buildings running.

Fun. Grappling feels good. Looks and sounds good. The difficulty scales up well.

The game is fun. Does well with the resolution. Definitely a bit slippery but that isn't unusual for those style games. Looks and sounds good. Cool little game.

Really fun. Art looks great. I really love the style you went with on it. Game sounds good. Really a joy to play and feels good. Love the Sunset Riders style gameplay.

Super cool. Feels good and you were able to work a lot into just having a shield. Looks good at the resolution while maintaining good readability and good FOV. A lot of fun to play.

Really cool game. Looks good and totally a good choice for this resolution. I had a lot of fun playing it.

Cool game. I love the green color schemes on these super low rez games. Brings back some Gameboy nostalgia. Game sounds and looks good. Plays well. None of the puzzles were too hard and was fun overall.

Game looks and sounds great. It has a ton of charm. Plays well. The animation for the sunlight hitting you is great and totally caught me off guard. Really awesome submission.

Game is fun. Simple but satisfying. Tough to see sometimes because of the low resolution but there isn't much you can do about that at 64x64. Looks and sounds good.

Game is nifty. The feeling of the gravity well is really good. It looks and sounds good too. It seems super simple at first but there is a lot going on with the atlas and everything else. Super cool.

Cool game. The boost pads feel really good. Just a great sense of that acceleration. Art is good.

Fun game. Little confusing at first but got it under control pretty quick. Arts cute. Sounds were good too. You managed to fit a lot of gameplay elements in such. short span of time.

Game looks really great. The art is super charming. Sounds are good too. Gameplay is fun though was a little confusing at first. Tough to see what's happening at such a small resolution. Definitely cool.

Games neat. A bit hard on a touch pad but fun. Sound and art are good.

Thanks for the feedback.  I definitely went too hard on the difficulty. I'll definitely add in lives or something similar if I revisit it.

Oh I never realized it was me breaking eggs that called him my way. I wasn't ever avoiding all the eggs so I had assumed most rooms had a copy.  That does change things a fair bit.

Game is fun. Controls well. Art is great. Love the variety in the enemy looks. Bosses look real good. Sounds great too.

Rated and commented. Game is neat. Here is mine. https://itch.io/jam/lowrezjam-2022/rate/1655154

Art works well at this resolution. I definitely just crushed all the eggs at first until I spoke to the guy about them. It got way easier once I stopped smashing them all. Only issue I ran into was enemies waiting where they were in rooms I passed through so I'd end up in trouble if they followed me right to the door. The dialogue and font are all super readable so that worked great.

Thank you. I ended up with so many different ships because my buddy was churning them out trying to get good looking stuff at that resolution. Difficulty is too high for sure. Extra lives would have been smart just so people could progress further.  I was the main tester so it was sort of tuned too high because I was so familiar with it.

Thank you for the feedback. Power ups were a stretch goal I never got around to doing. The difficulty is a bit too much but I put the level together like 7 hours before it was due so I was the only tester. I'll definitely keep those in mind if I expand on it.

Arts real great. Music is good. Game is fun. The levels can get a bit tough later on but still fun and fair. Very charming. Adore the theme.

It's awesome you were able to do this style game at such a low resolution.

Game is fun. Looks and sounds great. Plays really well. I was having crashes on safari but no issues after swapping to chrome.

Game was fun. The different weapons are cool. Character feels a little slippery when running around. Sound and art were good.

Game is fun. I really dig the low rez bug sprites. They were nicely done. Sound is nice. controls fine. Wasn't entirely sure what the sticks and boxes I was collecting were but that's hard at such a small size. Art looked nice anyway though.

Game is fun. I really dig the low rez bug sprites.

Game was fun. Changing into enemy forms to get through the level is cool. The big legs aren't there often enough to be annoying but do make you stop and think for a moment about how should I handle this. The screen shake and stuff do well to signal them coming your way. Looks good for the resolution and sound is fine as well.

The visual effect and overall mood was dope. You did really well with the size restrictions. Combat seemed simple but not a problem.

Game is neat. Has nice atmosphere. The turn based combat caught me off guard. Definitely just went in the opposite directions of the orders at first.

Played, rated, and commented. Had a good time. Here is mine. https://philgermano.itch.io/3064x64

The game is fun. Really dig the different looks for enemies that you were able to squeeze into such a low resolution. The backgrounds were great too. Died repeatedly at the spikes because I instantly forgot about the dash after starting. The sounds and music were good as well.
