Did you work in a team?
just me, entered on a whim, fun at first, stressful later
Was the resolution a challenge?
being able to add useful UI elements would have been nice

I absolutely love this game!!
I love how you have mixed these two genres into something I have never seen before.
very original and surprisingly complex game mechanics, i really enjoyed playing this one.
Really well contained scope, does what it says on the tin: a nice twist on the samegame format. My only issue was with animation speed; not sure whether it's a nanoJam thing or another issue, but it made reading some of the animations/transitions difficult to parse. Awesome entry!
loved the game concept, the sprites and everything. my only comment is that imho you should make the animations a little bit slower, and some transitions between the gamestates would be nice.
Managed to get to wave 14 on my second try, had a lot of fun. From something so simple you're able to pull a lot of strategy out of it. Nice work.
This is a really cool idea and nice execution. Setting up big combos felt rewarding.
I really liked it the presentation and mechanics, but found I was often stuck without many options due to bad luck. Would be nice to have an ability to randomize the board once per level just to give you a chance to recover in dire situations. Nice work!
Yeah - the items were meant to help in those situations. There is a scroll that refills the grid for example. But I never got around to adding them to the shop so they are awarded randomly every five waves
Very neat game! It's very simple but the enemy variety makes it quite fun. Could be very promissing with more tile variety tho, or maybe rotating the board more instead of only when completing a column.
Dunno if you are aware but there's a bug where an enemy doesn't die with the spells slash damage.
Originally I wanted to have more tiles - shields für example nur i realized this would reduce the chance of multiples.
And yes - I know of the bug but haven’t gotten around to fixing it. Also - it helps with grid management as you can pop tiles without being attacked ;)
I had an absolute BLAST!
Great work - super fun, loved every aspect of the game!
Great job conveying so much through pure imagery :D
Wow - 18 is pretty good! My best (non-cheating) run I got to wave 21
This game is great, it's pretty addictive. Sound effects and music would make it even better.
Yes - I completely neglected sound.. there always was something more important to do…
Nice combining the match-3 classic mechanics with a roguelike combat. Reminds me NintendoDS PuzzleQuest. Some nice bg music and some extra SFX would come handy. Overall Good job with the entry!
This has great potential. It’s great as it is, but with a bit more depth it’ll totally be a game I’d play on my phone during a commute.
This was addictive, ended up playing it for quite a while!
