How does your game fit the theme?
In this puzzle-platformer, you play as a tiny nose in a smelly sewer. The main mechanics involve inhaling and exhaling to perform certain interactions across the level. Take a deep breath before you perform those difficult jumps!

:D I've been seeing this nose around. Glad I finally got a chance to play it. Wonderful adventure! Reminds me a bit of Katamari Damacy. Good balance with challenges for me, made it all the way to the end. Well done! Thank you for the experience :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much Miikka! Happy to hear you enjoyed it. The original Katamari Damacy is one of my all time favorites so that makes me happy to hear! :D

Are you kidding me? This game has so much polish and thoughtful game design. The platforming puzzles are creative and fit perfectly. The level design is also strong and I never felt confused or lost at any point.

Bonus points for adding a small ring when the player begins their descent so it's easier to gauge where you're landing. Such a lifesaver!

The checkpoints are also generous. There are some tricky parts so it was nice to not lose so much progress when I died, which was a lot haha.

Definitely felt nicer to play with a controller. I would love to play a longer version of this. I'm very impressed by the work of this team and look forward to seeing more!

Developer(+1)

Wow, thank you so much!! We would love to keep working on the game and make more levels, especially after reading comments like yours! :)

I played through to the end and i really enjoyed myself. The theme is implemented really well and the mechanics are fun. I think the "perfect sneze" timing is a bit strict and some of the platforming sections are made more difficult by the cameras position, but otherwise, great!

Developer

Thank you Superschnizel! XD

Indeed the supersneeze is hard to get, it actually happens in the top 96% of the exhale power meter. We made it quite hard to achieve as it is supposed to be not needed in essence to finish the game and actually makes most puzzles way simpler. But yes, it could be more lenient for sure and incorporated into future levels for this game! As for the camera, we totally get you and we'll be taking steps to improve on the feel of it when we hourly continue with this fun project!

Thanks for playing! 🙌

I made an account simply to leave a comment for this game. Genuinely fun game, and beautiful design. Loved the idea of the perfect sneeze, seemed appropriate to play it while being sick XD.  It would've been nice to be able to rotate the camera at some points to better coordinate a few jumps. But other than that, it was a blast!

Developer

Your words mean a great deal to us and we hope you get well soon buddy :)

Developer

Aww that's so sweet of you ❤ī¸đŸ‘ƒ

So glad you enjoyed our tiny game and hope you get well soon for you and your nose's sake! 👃💨

Presentation is absolutely top notch and the gameplay is fun as well. Though at times the perspective combined with the inconsistent jump heights makes the platforming a bit tricky at times.

Like someone else said, the game kind of gives some nos(e)talgic Rayman 2 vibes.

Developer(+1)

Ah yes, the devious "jump-towards-camera" platforming I'm guessing (I struggle with it as well).  Definitely worth considering for future level design. Thank you for the kind words and feedback :)

Developer

Thank you for the kind words juwambo! ;)

Indeed we feel you with the perspective. We understand exactly what you mean and we will work with that in mind going forward with this project!

Glad you find it nos(e)talgic too! XD

Took me a minute or two to get a feel for the breath timing but so rewarding ,once you get it, to do a sequence jump after jump without stopping. Love the character design as well. Well done!

Developer

Pro gamer alert 👃🚨 Thank you and happy to hear you enjoyed it!!

Developer

Hahahaha! So nice to see people enjoy mastering the jumps XD glad you like it the feel of it! Thank you so much đŸ’¯

Great game. The graphics and optimization are low, but the gameplay and how the theme of the jam is revealed is impressive. Fun game.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and also the input! If we keep working on it in the future, optimization will definitely be in the backlog :)

Thanks a lot Ultas! And your feedback is heard and apreciated! Glad you enjoyed the game and it's theme XD

Crazy good! I'm assuming its only a matter of time before yall get massive traction coming your way. Only thing I had a slight issue with was the sail part near the end but I figured it out.  Really awesome work on this.

Developer(+1)

Wow thanks!! Much appreciated :)

Thank you Alan! Glad you enjoyed it! :D

Definitely master piece in gaming, it's incredibly fun, and it has a lot of the feeling of 3D platform games like Rayman 2, Gex, among others. It has a hilarious and quirky vibe.

I'm Brazilian, so I don't know an English expression that is equivalent to this, but this game is..."DO CARALHO!!!"

Developer(+2)

Muito obrigado, that means a lot! Now I'm definitely in the mood to play some Rayman 2 haha!
