Getting off the platform was a bit touchy, but I liked the slow movement. Great game

Cool entry and lovely music!
Was a really cool take on the limit and theme, steam jet packs need to be more common haha.
I did find the movement a bit slow / unwieldy but also part of the fun as getting used to it I found.
Great work

This is so cool :D

I could imagine a polished version of this game to be a really successful endless mobile game. I liked the idea of switching the direction when you die as well, nice entry :D

Hey Scalph thanks for playing it! As I said below I didn’t have much time for this one, just Sunday. I spent the weekend discarding ideas :D. I thought of making levels but it was impossible (I also have domestic duties around lol) so I just did this to show the concept.

Cool game to play! I really like the fast pace style and the change in vertical gameplay! It felt a bit difficult at first since there are so many things to look at but in the end it was a fun experience! You can be proud of yourself, congrats!

Feels very "crunchy", which is nice. If you added score counting (gain score with time, loose upon dying) I could see this as a fun little mobile game.

Very difficult.

The use of the limitation was interesting, gave a new perspective to the game although the only thing stopping you from going the opposite direction was the camera position.

Took me a bit to get the hang of the controls but overall it was enjoyable and challenging, a nice short experience. :D

Now this is just something extra but some visual indicator that you were dead/alive (like a different palette) could've helped sell the idea that you were changing between life and death.

Notes: Personally this was one of the hardest limitations to create an original mechanic apart from narrative. I spent a couple of days just thinking and discarding ideas.

  • Zombies? meh…
  • A player that starts as human, then zombie, then skeleton and then ghost? meh..
  • A world where when you die you go to a mirrored scenario (the other side) meh…

Finally I did this in a day. when you die you have to change direction, while you are in Limbo. It’s short, but hard to beat.

Anyway, I was interested in using a new physics engine so at least I learned something new. I hope somebody likes this thing lol. I’m eager to see other people’s ideas!
