The game was very addicting!
The limitation was just wow! The idea of limited bullets(limitation) alongside the mechanic of sacrificing yourself for more bullets made me play for longer than I should have.
I think you made the right decision on picking a simple art style for the game jam.

Simple but addictive game. I really like it, great work :)
Cool idea for a game, and nicely polished too. I'm not sure I've seen someone get a player sprite in only 6 pixels before! It felt a little easy once I started waiting for enemies to get close before shooting them, but I did still get it wrong and die every so often. Overall an enjoyable game.
(Also, I love the Godot/aseprite combo!)

good job! I really liked the game aesthetics, the change pallet option really adds to it, the idea is quite cool too. the only issue I found is the scaling, I'm not sure if it's even a thing in the game, I was just encountering one slime at a time and shot them no problem, the max slimes on screen never went beyond 3, but when I got to ~94 points I just got swarmed by slimes. so enemy spawner needs a bit of love.
But overall the Game is really cool! Maybe you'll check out my game too? ;)
This was super cool. The music and aesthetic was great. I really like what you accomplished with only those two colors. I think the gameplay mechanic is really creative. Great job!
