I like art! But the game is too short. The game is over before you even enter the world of the game.
True! It would be easy to extend the game at this point, but of course we don't want to make changes after the game is submitted. Think of this as a demo of what the game could be ;]
It was a very beautiful pixel art world, and I was able to get into the atmosphere. As others have commented, I found myself using the E key after one round of exploring with my space key, so it would be nice if you could indicate that the E key is enabled at the interactable points. This game is awesome for the duration of the jam!
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, you're right of course that the game is not explicit enough about the E key. We planned to do more playtesting and create a better user experience, but due to limited time we had to cut short on that. Unfortunate!
Nice art! The atmosphere is really good too, hoping to see some more of the story!
Beautiful visuals and sound design, it took me a while to figure out that the interact button wasn't space.
great little game! the visuals are absolutely stunning for having been made in a few days, and the story is quite intriguing. that being said, the actual gameplay felt a little boring. i was told there was something in the janitors locker, and there was just... nothing. i have no idea what that was about but i wasted a couple minutes on that locker. otherwise, excellent game!
How beautiful, I could just sit down and watch it as a story…
Should I grab the popcorn ? :D
The artwork and music are amazing. Only issue that I noticed while playing was layering of things like windows would some times appear in front of the character. Other than that the game is amazing and am excited to see what comes in the future!
At 3am the last thing we wanted was to fix those pesky clipping issues :D We baged to all gods to finish it before we all die :P But it bothers us too :(
YOOO This looks so sick! The spriteWork here looks impressive, the story is intriguing, and the sound makes the atmosphere feel super omnious, this is awesome!
Only thing i can point out that can be improved is the layering, sometimes some sprites like the windows go to the front of the character. Also maybe change the interact and continue dialogue to the same button, it felt a bit odd going from one button to the other.
Great Work, excited to see more of it in the future! 5.1/5
Thanks for the feedback! Actually changing the interact button so that it's not the same as the one for the dialogue was a conscious decision. Some players like to spam interact buttons and they would sometimes miss the dialogue. Since some of the dialogue is one-time only, they would be able to miss the content, and we wanted to avoid that :)
The art was amazing and fit well with the theme, the camera effects and sound worked perfectly to set the mood and keep a good balance between tranquility and tension. There were some clipping issues, but the team still did better than Bethesda in that regard. Great job!
Amazing game, and a big team wow, did you guys made all the art by yourselfs? in 3 days? amazing entry
Splendid pixel artwork, also the shading gives that dreamlike feeling, I also suggest to make collisions a little more forgiving. I don't think i got the good ending. :)
We consider our late night work at 3am and submitting it to jam a good ending :D That being said there was a plan for secret good ending but we run out of personal time sadly :(
Beautiful artwork. I tried to jump out the window
It was us trying to finish the game at 3am and not to jump through window too. Glad you enjoyed the glich :D
I immediately got stuck behind the fire extinguishers 😂 the art is really nice and the music works really well. I think the inspect/activation hitbox could be bigger, sometimes it was a little finicky. Cool vibe!
Thank you for the input, We hope you enjoyed it on your "second" playthrough :D 3am in the morning does not help to iron down and polish all the things :D
I really enjoyed the art style and concept of this game!
Thank you very much :)
