By getting attacked and eventually getting killed by the monsters, you are presented with an intermission where you can buy upgrades to make yourself more powerful in the following rounds rather than playing continously without upgrades

great game! This is a well made game! I like the art and the controls are responsive for an running/ action shooter,  the mechanics is easy to understand, the upgrades can be bought by the amount of collected coins. This has good replay value and  the monster going fast gives a frantic  arcade experience, overall I enjoyed playing! congratulations! keep it up!

I like the fact that the enhancements through purchases do not simply enhance the player character, but rather make the item appear in the game. Excellent work!

it's interesting just the limitation felt more of a means to get to a pretty good game I think it might of been better if all the upgrades were big changes like the last two

Fun game, good art. I guess monsters hitbox was a little too big that it felt like it shouldn't have hit me. Some more purchase options (maybe leveling up existing ones) could increase the play time. Well done

Wow, the artstyle is PHENOMENAL! where did you learn that from? The character, the enemies, the boss, and the shop... just perfect. The music and sound effects were also amazing. The gameplay itself is also great! The difficulty ramp is well done, and the shop system score system was also pretty forgiving.

There isn't much to add, except for maybe some qol improvements, like adding sound or screen shake when taking damage, and making the boss' bullets not shrink so that it's easy to see, and maybe making evershot something to start with, because having to click all the time to shoot did get a little tedious.

Other than that tho, this was very impressive, especially for being made in only 3 days. Loved it!

Like an idiot I sat in the middle the first couple of rounds, getting wrecked. I really liked this game though! The Evershot power-up was especially handy, although in future iterations maybe this could be a rate-of-fire boost instead. Ya know, so the player has the option to jackhammer their mouse button or not. I'm a little partial to the artwork as I love simple pixelart, and the sounds/music definitely gave it a spooky atmosphere. Great job!

This is a pretty good game with simple and good pixel art. In my opinion, the AI could have been made better. The current AI works for now, but if you can manage to run around in circles for some time, all the enemies start overlapping. A larger game area with varied enemy AI patterns can definitely improve the game! Overall a short and good game :D

A cool game with really awesome pixel art and nice music! At least to me it was really hard and the upgrades were pretty expensive, but it was still very fun!

Very nice, I think the pixel art without outline is perfect for this sprite dimension. I've made the same core gameplay loop as you. Now all you need in my opinion, is to make more upgrade.

Oh and also change the color of the black guy (thats not racist), he is barely visible :)
