The aesthetic of this game was great! Lovely look and fun gameplay loop.

this was so fun, wow. you’ve made me want to give blender another shot, the voxel style is really appealing and works well here. gameplay was fun and engaging. sometimes i went on for a while (15-30 secs) without encountering any other ships. also being able to reverse on a dime was pretty immersion-breaking. still, tank controls felt great, weighty and satisfying. sound design was nice, so was music (though a bit repetitive). all around fantastic game, thank you for sharing.
thanks for your feedback! just watch the blender donut tutorial and you are good to go :>
thank you i will ^.^
Really fun game, I enjoyed playing a lot, and i like the art stile ;)
thanks!
really fun, i become both king of england and lord of pirates.
true gamer :)
Cute game. Like playing with rubber bath toys.
should have added a rubber duck easter egg ;)
Very nice.

I really enjoyed this game! The minimalistic style is unique and the interpretation of the game jam theme was really interesting. A must-play for fans of pirates.
Unique interpretation of the theme? Are you sure? haha I basically ignored the theme (i did want to add a web mechanic but didnt have enough time), and if you meant the limitation I just made it take place on the ocean, not that creative imo
Thanks for your feedback :)
Amazing!
:D
The art style in this is so damn cool! The gameplay and upgrading and stuff is great too. Although I would've preferred shooting to be left click and right click for each side, rather than J and K
Yeah control rebinding would be nice to have. Thanks for playing!
amazing game

Amazing game! I love the pirate theme, though I don´t think the limitation perfectly fit since there are some specks of land. Nevertheless, I really really enjoyed your game. Amazing grapics, nice movement and controls, as well as a nice reputation system. The overlay was slightly bugged for me but I liked the idea of upgrading my ship and becoming stronger over time! I had a blast playing your game.
Yeah I know the island was a little risky :P What do you mean by the overlay not working correctly?
Oh, that was my bad! I didn´t play the game on fullscreen so the overlay happened to overlap after buying some upgrades. It works perfectly fine when fullscreened! You have great potential to win!
I love the concept and its really fun, maybe you could make it easier to hit the enemies but that might just be me.
yeah aiming can be a bit tricky, the pixelated look hides some of the details you would need for precisely knowing your ships rotation.
thanks for playing!
the control is hard asf, the enemy made this game feels like dark souls, cute boat, 10/10
Try buying some reload and speed powerups in the harbor, should help make the game easier :) Thanks for playing!
Small, nice looking and fun game.

Really fun game. However the balance seems off. At the start you are very weak, and those upgrades stack very quickly until you are a god.
Yeah balancing is difficult to get right and takes time, will try to work on it when I get the chance. Thanks for playing!
Simple, yet very enjoyable core loop presented with a lot of charme.
Was a very entertaining experience, well done !
thanks! glad you liked it!
I really enjoyed the game and had quite a bit of fun, I like the simple pixelated look and think you can really take pride in this game. However in my opinion the limitation is not very well implemented, as there still is an island and I personally would consider water to be part of the ground, but that is just opinion. Overall its an amazing experience for a Game Jam. Well done!
Thats fair, the limitation is up for individual interpretation. Glad you had fun!
I like my EDM pirate style.
Fun game!
I really enjoyed the game!
Everything is well done, most of all I liked the gameplay, but the balance of upgrades could be better, because makes sense to improve only the reloading and speed.
Thank you for your feedback! What would you suggest for balancing the upgrades?
Not sure how to fix it, but for example you could increase the price of upgrades or decrease the percentage of improvement for reloading rate
Oh ok, well I didnt want to make it too difficult, I feel like at least for the Game Jam its fine to be relatively cheap upgrades. Will try to balance it out more if I work on the project in the future. I would still like to add more enemy types and weapons if I have the time and motivation :)
I must know, did you use assets that u previously made?
Hi, I made everything from scratch, the models were made in blender and are really simple, enough detail for the pixelated look tho. (apart from audio, which i got from mostly from freesound.org)
