I liked the game feel and game visuals. it is a nice and enjoyable game. Can you please play my game and tell me how it is?

What a great game! Has the juiciness you'd want and is very graphically pleasing. Nice array of mechanics to take advantage of in a good amount of levels. I didn't notice the mouse controls until a few levels in so that made things go faster but more chaotic. I think limiting the rotation while the player is moving could ease that. Overall great job!

Good game. Having no shadows adds a significant challenge to some of the levels. Very nice graphics and sound effects, though.

This was a lot of fun! The audio and visual design also adds to the experience. My only complaint is that sometimes the combination of the lack of shadows with the fixed camera angle made some jumps difficult to judge properly.

There is a ground..., i love the animations tho

Developer

Yes, but my idea was to spend less time on the ground each new level

Submitted

The limitation stated: There is no ground, you use it less, but its there xd

Developer

ok

Spider-Cube is straight up charming, and I want a plushie Spider-Cube immediately. Fun concept, loved the controls.

this one is so good and it bothers me because i can’t really figure out why i like it so much. a platformer with tank controls… and yet it works, really well. i wish there were a way to center the camera behind the spider-cube and/or more precise/slower turning. the AI music was pretty chill and removed some of the repetitiveness you get in jam games. don’t have much else to say honestly. i love the spider-cube!

Nice visual! Liked the sounds.

Passed all levels including hard mod.

Due to the camera angle, it is difficult to aim, the squareness of the spider and platforms saves.

Like!

I feel like there shouldn't be a ground if the limitation was no ground, I like the dream style that the world feels like. I personally didn't have an issue with the depth perception. Nice game

Submitted(+1)

Really fun game. The only problem is due to camera angle sometimes it's hard to see where exactly a platform is.

Submitted(+1)

I like it! But I felt dizzy with the camera angle. Also the deep of the objects its hard to calculate. I love the spider and the sounds

Submitted(+1)

Very challenging game ! A bit hard to see with the camera angle. The spider cube is super cute. but I always get distracted when jumping due to its squishy

Submitted(+1)

this is a great game! the movement feels perfect, the only thing you could have done better was make the camera angle a bit better.

Submitted(+1)

Cute and polished presentation, mouse input also felt nice after a short start.

Good job!

Really like the control bindings, mouse input is very unique. The hitboxes are fair, but I would have liked a more responsive jump mechanic (see mario, hollow knight, etc...).

I liked the powerups, seem like they were inspired by Celeste? The graphics are really cute, but the camera sometimes was angled a little weirdly, as well as the distance of some jumps was hard to judge, maybe shadows would help.

Also props for making so many levels!

Developer

Thanks for feedback!

Yes, I was inspired by Celeste a lot.

I could made a better camera, but for lack of time I wouldn't have enough time to implement it

About shadows, I've already written below why it wouldn't work

Submitted

I see.. are you sure there is no setting to enable shadows for web builds? In Unity there are settings for different quality levels, idk how Unreal handles this.

Developer

Unreal Engine automatically sets the lowest graphics and without post-processing, so it is impossible to change anything in this case.

looks quite nice, although is sort of hard to see if you are in front or behind a platform, maybe some extra visuals to help?

Developer

I wanted to add more shadows to the platforms, but Unreal Engine downgrades the graphics when exporting to the browser so I couldn't do it.

Nice!!!! its very fun to control that cute spider cube.Animation,Sound, controls &visual's everything looks very beautiful.

Submitted(+1)

Cute! You should make the spider rotate a little slower, though - it's difficult to control since he rotates so fast when you try and turn him.

I am highly invested in the life and achievements of this tiny cubic spider. Fun game + controls well! Not so sure about the limitation, but that's up to interpretation. Good work!
