This game is relaxing, but it is not for this jam, because the topic is not disclosed (

Loved it, right when I though I was done I'd find something else I could do, then something else, then something else...

Needless to say I spent quite some time on this one. good job!

Developer

Ooh thank you! I'm so happy that you've enjoyed your time! Thanks for your feedback!

Pixel art looks great, and the use of the limitation was interesting. As others have said some music would go a long way in improving the experience though. Overall nice job!

Developer

Thank you very much for enjoying it! I've just added music to it  due to popular request :) !

I love the art in this game! Cool idea, I wish there was some groovy/chill music - but that could always be added post-jam. Well done :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Seeing all the feedback on music, I might end up adding one ;)

Developer(+1)

I've followed your advice and added music with a post-jam note. Hope you'll like it! :)

That type of games are not for me, but I'll try to be as objective as I can. Arts are AWESOME, especially for the game that was submitted 1 day and 14 hours before deadline, presentation of the game, UI elements, very simple, very pixel, very crispy, very good.

Will be good to add some ambient or chill lofi music to relax after working day making some arts and designing gardens.

Pretty good job!

Developer

Thank you very much! Art is always the most important part for me, much more than gameplay, I confess 😅 I'm happy that you've enjoyed it!

Developer

PS: I just happened to start this game one day before the jam and randomly decided to check and join Mini Jam 133 :) That's why I submitted my game earlier ( more than 1 day before deadline). This  1-day "time shift" sounded fair enough 😄

What I liked: Loved getting a nice breather after testing so many platformer games. Art style was great, and I loved the creative freedom! The hints were very helpful, and I was able to make something that I liked the look of.

Suggestions (just suggestions, feel free to ignore): I would have loved to get some music, or have sounds play while playing. Also, a lot of the decoration options are plants. Plants are great, but I found myself wanting just a bit more.

Overall nice little game!

Developer

Thank you very much for your constructive feedback! :)

Developer

I've just added some post-jam music if you wanna check. Cheers!

Such a cozy game! The aesthetics are great, and it's actually fun to just decorate. Reminds me of the game Unpacking.

It's a shame there's no audio, but you can't always get everything done in a jam, especially working in a team of one.

Developer

Thank you!  I thought of chiptune music but it didn't fit. Seeing all the feedback I get about music, I might add one and of course specify it'll be post-jam!

Sound effects and music are usually an afterthought in my games as well -- it's not my focus, but I always try to throw a few in that I find online. It really does make a difference!

A chill music track to listen to while decorating would make this game even better for sure.

Finally, flowers that don't die

i am a simple person, i see building game, i enjoy it significantly. anyways, this game is really fun to me and i could see myself playing it again! i agree with some of the other comments about music, though. overall good job!

Developer

Thank you for taking the time to play and for your feedback!

I love the art and little interjections a lot! The vibes are very good and chill :3 I think that with stuff like music or things to do with objects you place it would be even better!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I do agree! I purposely didn't add music as it should have been  chiptune to match the "virtual retro console" restrictions that I was using and I thought it wouldn't fit :)

Developer

I've finally added music, in a more ambient style, if you wanna check the post-jam version!

I love all the little background animations, and the level of polish is great for a jam this short! I think the "cozy" description works pretty well - like Jonathan mentioned, I wouldn't necessarily describe it as "fun" but it is an amazing relaxation game. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! True, it isn't "fun" as in "game", the purpose is just to enjoy your time :)

These games are not personally my cup of tea, but if you add some calming background music and some sound effects I think that would make it a great relaxing game.
