What I really like in this tower defense is the fact, that I control time by my own steps. It is fun and easy enough to figure out, what the towers to. The game earns a lot of spice due to the fact, that I never know, which tower I pick. This is an awesome concept and I really enjoyed it.
And on top it sounds and looks very nice. You made a great job here.
Thanks for the review!
Really cool! the track itself I think could be improved but I like how there were different sandcastles you could get randomly. I feel like not all of them fired when they were supposed to so it was a bit awkward, and the fact that I had to get a 'running start' to place down an object where I wanted was awkward, but presentation wise and the core gameplay was really solid. Well done!
Without the running start it was almost impossible to have the players be able to have enough towers down to kill the first enemies, and idk what you meant by not all towers firing when they are supposed to as some of them fire every few turns. I had tried to make a thing in the menu to show how often they fired but I was changing so many of the stats last second I just had to cut it.
REALLY INTERESTING SPIN ON TOWER DEFENSE! I don't think I've ever seen one work like this where you have to run around the map, pick up towers, and then drop them on the track yourself! What a neat idea! Great music and art to boot!
Glad you enjoyed!
I like the game! I really like the idea of having the world move when you move. I had not seen that in tower defense and I really like it. I feel like it adds to the strategy because it makes you think about which item you are going to run to pickup and the distance/moves that will give your enemies. Some small feedback is that sometimes the items would spawn outside the player zone and I could not pick them up, also the game freezes when exit is clicked. Overall, really nice work, I enjoyed it.
I’m glad you enjoyed! We tried to get the items to not spawn outside of the play area but it didn’t work so we decided it was good enough lol. Also with the exit button is meant to be too close the game if we had a downloadable version so it just crashes it on the web version
Ah well that would make sense about the exit button hah.a. Yeah don't sweat the item spawn, my game has a few funky bugs as well, great work.
Nice tower defense game! Liked the graphics a lot. Well done!
Thanks!
I like the idea of having to find the towers in the sand, cool concept!
Glad you liked that
I absolutely loved the game! Really fun and addicting gameplay, with awesome art and music, awesome entry!! :D
Thanks for the positive review! I’m glad you enjoyed.
yay
Really cool look and sound in this one, and also a nice take on the Tower defense game play.
Glad you enjoyed!
Great tower defense, cute graphics, and love the setting. It's a really cool game.
Thanks!
A very cool take on the typical tower defense game! Though, it requires more strategy in the movement department, I feel that its hurt in the tower defense department by the way you get towers randomly. Also, I feel that a bit of juice/polish and sound effects would help make the game more satisfying (like when enemies die)!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed! I had wanted to make a shop/upgrade system but that was to complex for the time we had, I did regret this a bit near the end as I did realize you kinda just placed the towers you got as close as you could to the path lol.
VERY fun tower defense game - art was adorable too
Thanks for the review!
Love the concept at the pixel art :D And the music is very cute. Did find the game quite hard but love how the crabs only move as you move.
Glad you enjoyed!
neat
Really hard, but I do like the concept. I appreciate how the turn-based mechanic puts a limit on the typical tower-defense strategy. Also, crabs. 🦀
Thanks, you should more moves to prepare before it starts but thats not working rn lol
This should be a bit better now
