Part of the game is a crane game. To play it you need a coin, there's 1 coin per stage. If you fail to get the key from the machine, you have to start over.
Cookies eaten
Actually like 20 cookies. Chips a hoy were on sale so I got some milk and cookies for a dev snack.

This was fun to play. The character was a little jittery while running. But overall, great job!
Fun claw machine minigame! Unique, fun idea for collecting items which I haven't seen before. Fun music and vibe, too. I liked how easy and approachable the game was, right from the start.
Good game! Good music, graphics and gameplay. But it doesn’t fit the theme: fortune. Thanks for the great game!
just gotta get to the end ;)
You did a really stable job here. Core mechanics work out super nice. I would lower the move speed of the character just a little bit, because in more complex levels it would become really hard to keep him under control.
yeah I built the levels as yet stand around what controls I could whip up quickly. Post jam I'm going to come back and adjust. Fix the game feel, rebalance the existing stages, and start adding more movement mechanics to add variety to later stages
If feel that there is a nice game cooking, I am curious where the development will go to :)
Fun game! The crane mini game adds an element of absurdity, Wario Ware style, that I did appreciate a lot. Only thing is my character kept slipping away, controls are hard at first. GG nonetheless!
Had fun! I liked the overall experience! Made me realize I suck at platforming as of late lol. Gotta love a solid crane game that actually grabs the thing you want.
Good stuff. Managed to beat it in 209.57
The game is fun and easy to understand. The art and sound effects all work well together. I do agree with what all others said about the physics. Most of the platforms are at the exact max jump height like this:
Where it would be better if it was like this:
The concept is cool though with the one chance gambling attempt to progress. Neat game overall. Very nice work!
Nice music, nice presentation and great idea!
The physics are a bit wonky, which could get some people angry, since the level seems designed around precision platforming.
hard and controllers were not grate but if you were going for a getting over it game its perfect
Some of the platforming felt a little tight, but besides that I had fun with this game. And the music fits this one very well!
A unique game that has some bopping music; I think my biggest issue is the slidey movement. They're really touchy making a lot of the platforming harder than it should be.
The tree branches not being a one-way collision so you can't jump from underneath them is also a tad frustrating at times.
Overall a solid experience just needs a little tuning :)
A unique combination of gameplay mechanics that blends well into one-core gameplay!
But the controls for the platforming are quite off-putting to me, as it has a very fast acceleration and a slippery movement which causes the platforming element of the game to become much much harder and more frustrating...
yeah I didn't really have time to address game feel and still get in the submission. Once the jam is fully complete I think I'm going to come back, tighten up the controls, add the movement mechanics I left out, and add another 15 or so levels.
This was an interesting combination of game mechanics. I could see this being fleshed out. Unfortunately in its current state the platforming was quite frustrating. Can't quite pinpoint it but moving and jumping didn't feel as tight as these games need to for them to feel good. I enjoyed reading about your development process, fun addition to your game's page :)
Nice Work - Would be great if we had clear direction on what to do.
I can see the page has alot of words, and i mean alot,
But clear - short - in game instructions, would be helpful in people getting the full experience of your game.
