Day/night cycle acts as timer for monster spawns, resources have a limited lifetime, tesla coil has long, visible cooldown before using again.

Very good vibes! You make great use of small pixel sizes for art and got a lotta polish done for the short time period. I think SFX would go a long way to make this more immersive, like a lightning sound and screams when they die. I really like how the attack is both used to guide your guys to safety and can also harm them if you aren't careful. Good work!
Really enjoyed the concept of this game though enemies kept getting trapped behind buildings which I used to my advantage.
Lightning Larry is so cute I love his design and animations. This is a cool concept for a game and I had fun playing it, tho it feels a bit slow paced at times while I'm waiting for more monsters to spawn. Some feedback on monsters being hit would be good, I didn't realize I could damage them until I read someone's comment in here saying you could.
I think I ran into a bug on day 4 and day 5 when I killed all my villagers on accident the villager count didn't go down and the monsters just walked off screen, then when a new day started a villager spawned and the villager count reset to 1.

Keep developing this game, I'll subscribe to you! So far, this is my favorite, but the controls are a bit awkward and difficult to play.
Really nice concept! Love seeing the little villagers scurry around. I like Larry's design, and the overall style was nicely done! Felt a little bit slow as the levels progressed and I'm not sure if the game wanted me to be doing anything before the shadow monsters arrived. It seemed like the optimal strategy was just to start one fire in the corner to keep my villagers out of harm's way, and then go take out all the monsters with my lightning attack. I didn't seem to need to do much management with the villagers if I just went full murder cloud >:]
Really interesting concept that I'm sure could be expanded in a lot of ways to be a little more management focused if that's what you were going for. The action elements having to zap monsters was a cool second layer of gameplay. Great job!

Fun concept, I'd suggest making the game a bit faster because you end up waiting a long time
the dualities of lightning/rain, day/night, ally/baddie all add to this being a nice package. Nice work!

I’m not super confident in what exactly the Tesla Coil and the grass does around the map…would love some extra info!
Thanks for playing! The grass/wheat is a food source for the villagers. They prioritize the campfires but will wander to find food when hungry. The tesla coil wasn't super clear, but using it will kill all enemies in it's AOE.
Cool concept for a tower defense! Loved the pixel art as well.
