One of my favorite games of this jam :)
I liked the style and gameplay.
A little optic variation of the enemies would have been nice. Also a variation of movement of the enemies (for example jumping or rushing towords you). Good job!
Great game, a few things that I found were, the mat grey material that you use as a backdrop is visible in the bottom right corner and I feel the level system of the flower just added noise and would have done better as a high-score system. Also I crave your cookie eating powers.
Thanks for playing . It was a bit of a rush at the end so it doesnt surprise me that I left some holes in the map..
For the flower level, I wanted to add a mechanic were you get to upgrade your gun/yourself at each level to make it worthwhile, but I didn't have time in the end.
Thanks for the feedback!
Cute little top-down shooter. I liked the art style and gameplay. Good job. :)
Thanks for playing!
That was a peacefull and calm game to play, perfect to chill ! After 1750L there wasn't any enemies :/ I wanted more green !!!!
Thanks for playing! I thought about adding a respawn mechanism but I didnt figure anybody would play the game as long as you did! I am really glad you enjoyed it.
I really loved this game!
Thanks for playing!
A nice top-down shooter.
I liked the idea of the last flower you have to protect and the limited "inventory" for water makes the gameplay more dynamic. I think it would be an improvement if you could hold down the mouse button to shoot instead of clicking for ever bullet.
( I used Godot as well and uploaded the source code to my game if you want to check that out and maybe learn something from it, but I'm also new to Godot so keep that in mind :D )
Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
I really like Godot, I come from Unity and I find that GDScript is way more straightforward than C# so its perfect for a jam (but maybe for a larger scale project unity is better)
I think your idea is good and really simple to implement (just going from is_action_just_pressed to is_action_pressed, thanks godot)
I will be sure to check out your game!
