I like the concept, but in the current state it is to easy. This could be a puzzler, if every level was possible to beat with all hearts left. Then the player could replay levels to try to get the highest rating (all hearts left). But you might need some more elements like walls or obstacles, that one kind of enemy can pass.

Some in game advice how to play would have been nice.

This is a well done game with potential for more. Keep going.

Developer

thanks for your feedback , yeah i thought about this but i didn't find the time to implement some advanced puzzle  combat system

I like the concept. Intially didnt know how to control the game. I would say have the mouse indicator change when over enemies just so you can tell the player its a target. But very good potential for something more :D Well done

Developer

thank for your Feedback i appreciate it

Well that was super easy!

The "transition" screen looked weird. Was that supposed to be something or just abstract? Also probably a good idea to use the "scale with screen size" on canvas so the UI stuff won't be super tiny on bigger resolutions.

The gameplay itself was interesting but not quite deep enough. The amount of health makes most levels even impossible to lose. Better level (or enemy pattern really) design would be needed. And stuff like killing an enemy that was in the way to clicked enemy for a combo system would be nice. Right now it stops to the enemy in the middle just like you clicked on it. Obviously different kinds of enemies and some obstacles would make it more interesting too.

As pretty much everyone else, I too was at first confused about the turn basedness of it. Could be made more clear with some kind of progress indicator or something along those lines.

Anyways, good job! And well done on finishing something. It seems to be quite common to go for something to ambitious and over scoped and then fail to deliver completely. Always a better idea to make something simple like this and build upon it and perfect it.

You should add an instructions screen, but otherwise very unique and great idea. :)

i think this game has a good concept, as others said  the game could benefit if you communicated the mechanics a little bit better,  it took me a few levels to understand that it was turned based but after that my enjoyment of the  game increased by a big amount!

Developer

thanks for your feedback , honestly i didn't have much time to polish the game

I dig it, the kill animation was smooth and satisfying, and I like the sound effect. My only suggestion would be to add some wall that the player could use to strategize against the enemies. I see lots of potential.

Developer

thank you . thanks for your suggestion i will experiment with it

Cool game!

Developer

thanks

This game has a really nice theme and I think what you've managed to get done in the time is amazing. If this game was real time I think it would increase pressure and getting all the kills would be more satisfying. Really well done though, keep up the good work :)

Developer

thank you. i will take your feedback into consideration

I understood nearly at the very end that it was turned based so I was spamming like crazy for nothing xD
I'm curious, why not make it real time instead of turn based? Maybe it lacks a feedback to show you cannot attack while it's not your turn! To be honest I would have liked to see how it turns out without turn based because it feels juicy to slay the scorpions but frustrating to not be able to spam and dash all over!

Developer

thanks for your feedback it's lack all the feature you mention .because i lack the experience to do all this in less than 48 hrs hahaha

It's quite simple but quite engaging. I feel like there is a lot of potential with this idea, I would love to see you taking it further. Nice job!

Developer

thanks a lot for your feedback

It took me a few seconds before I understood the depth of the game. Really great idea! Love the strategy-part.

Maybe you could've made it a bit harder by keeping the hearts - now they reset each level.

Really well done! And congrats on finishing your first game! That's an achievement on it's own!

Developer

thanks a lot ,yeah i never thought to do that

Congratz on finishing your first game for gamejam! The concept is quite cool, could be a little bit more fast paced for my liking!

Developer

thanks a lot i appreciate it

the game has a very interesting concept, i like how you cant move unless you are attacking. that part was pretty fun! but the levels did get quite repetitive, and i would have liked to see some more juice (screen shake, permanence, etc) but overall it was pretty fun to play! :D

Developer(+1)

thanks for your feedback honestly i didn't have time to work on level design
