Simple but yet functional shooter. A quite laggy(and my PC is relatively okay) but can be something i'm doing wrong.

The game is quite engaing, but I wish there were more checkpoints. It just gets tedious having to redo parts, when the gameplay and level design are pretty simplistic.

Extremely polished and curated, but I found it quite unoriginal, something that it's totally acceptable for a game jam though. Good job!

The gifs alone make me tell that its polished xd really good :D

Very satisfying game. The level of details is incredible. Congratulations!

Excellent platform shooter, very well polished! I was never quite sure what I was "getting revenge" for, but I shot the hell out of those little monsters anyway. I enjoyed the fog-of-war style lighting, it set a very nice atmosphere! I didn't have any problems with the game - the sounds were quite loud, but that was my fault for not turning them down.

Good job!

Dude this is a 2d platformer Nuclear Throne! Is Incredibly well made and polished. I think the bullets should not hit enemies outside the screen and the boss is very simple though. But very good game overall, could be a full release with more content.

So this lifetime supply of juice will certainly satisfy any person in their adventure to find drinks and fun games to play.

I have to say though, the level design could use a bit of work (as starting over a few times without it feeling like your own fault is not very fun. The lighting is also quite something to get used to but it certainly looks cool.

Overall, plain ol' fun, cool juice!

Developer

My god this is so polished.

The polishing reminds me of Nuclear Throne!

Did you get inspiration from them? :)

Developer

thank you for playing my game! :D

i actually did get quite a bit of inspiration from nuclear throne xD

thank you for liking my game! :D

GameMaker can make some of the most polished games. This is one of them, though I feel like you can die a little too easily just because you couldn't see an enemy. :)

Developer

thanks for your feedback! :D

some people have suggested i change the aspect ratio as it can be quite hard to see in front of you. sadly i cant change the game during rating :(

but thanks for playing anyways! :D

All the visual effects and scene transitions looked so good! I died a few times because I couldn't see what was ahead, maybe a wider camera or more more hp would help that, but overall amazing game for 48 hours.

Developer(+1)

thanks for your feedback! :D

ive actually had a few people complain about the small aspect ratio and people suggest i add a health system. sadly i cant change the submission after rating has started :( but thank you for your feedback anyways! :D

Wow. Unreal polished game! I like it!

And i like this dust effect. How did u achieve it?

Good luck! Great work!

Developer

thank you for playing my game! :D

the dust effect is actually really simple:

first i create an object with a circle shape, then i make it gradually get smaller overtime, then i just make it move in a random direction from the player's feet!

hope that answered your question! :D

Submitted(+1)

I hope too... :D

Next time i will try to implement it. Thanks!

Damn this game is well made and really well polished. There's a lot of juice behind each shot and killing enemies feels really satisfying. Heck even dying is really satisfying. Overall incredibly polished and well made game.

2 words, noice game

It felt really smooth and impactful, and I have no complaints

One thing tho... and how do i say this without sounding like a serial killer it would be fun to be able to move the bodies when colliding.. dont worry I'm not gonna kill ya...

Canera shake was great and the "paint" left an impactful stain on the actions they player made so good job :D

Developer(+1)

thanks for your feedback! :D

dragging the bodies around sounds like it could be a fun and interesting game mechanic! perhaps ill do that when (and if) i update the game! also thank you for liking the paint effect! :D i put a lot of effort into making that look nice so im glad it paid off! :D
