Great game, at the beginning the game didn't succeed in its "rage game" effect but when the orange cats were there, I hated them >:( the mechanics of the game is well thought out, you can do speedruns, it would be really cool as a detail that you convert seconds into minutes but I'm quibbling here.
Here's my best score :
Wow, I'm impressed that you got past the final level; the timing is really challenging at the moment! So you didn't die to the first appearance of the big cat? ;P
Yeah, I think the orange cats need changing. In principle, I just wanted to copy the 'Boo' ghosts from Mario, but my character doesn't have a specific direction it faces, so I used the mouse cursor position instead. However, it doesn't quite work as nicely as I wanted.
Thanks a lot for playing :)
After that, the orange cat is the concept of the game that it's an annoying enemy that frustrates the player, so maybe you should keep it.
For the last level, I didn't see any extra difficulty (I did it about 10 times).
I think I am just bad at my own game ;), haha. 10 times? That's awesome! Thanks so much for playing.
Unlike the other games I've tried, this game really challenged me in terms of gameplay and I loved that! I personally am a fan of hand drawn art so you really nailed the art style for me. I was thinking maybe a bouncy( ease in and out) effect or animation for when the cat is moving across the screen could add some polish. All the same very fun game!
Really good, with animations and stuff it could make it better, but it's not like I implemented animations to tell you to make them 😅
Nice game. Your aim must be accurate and your hand steady. This is definitely a challenge for me. Maybe adding a scoreboard would make people more motivated to challenge themselves.
Wow, it's really challenging. I like the game. I thinks if tileset itself was hand drawn makes the game even better
Fun and challenging game. The mouse to cursor control and the hand drawn art really enhances the games overall.
Solid game that incorporates the theme well. The control scheme is unique, I haven't seen this anywhere else before! Also the difficulty progresses nicely.
Hit the nail on the heat with the theme!
I agree with everyone else, this game is super cute and I love the vibes.
I loved this games concept. Wish the cats had slightly more animation and the instruction screens/death messages need to stay on screen for slightly more time. Overall was a very fun game and met the theme beautifully.
RE: the animations - I wanted to make the cats bounce a little when they walked and make the Copter Cat's hats spin around. Unfortunately, I just didn't quite have the time :). Thanks for the feedback!
Really cute. So many cats! lol
I had a lot of fun with this one. The controls get a bit tough when dodging a ton of cats and you are on edge, but the music choice brings you back down and focused. Really enjoyed this simple maze game.
Well done!
Thank you :). Yeah, the web player sometimes makes it frustrating if the cursor exits the game window. If I had known that'd be a problem in advance I would have designed the levels a tiny bit differently, I think.
