Kaizo game

No matter how much I tried I could not get over the thorn in the second stage.
Also to start the game I had to zoom in to the page to make the game element larger, to allow it to show more of the game.

Visually reminds me of a 2D Minecraft remake I made in an online flash game called Platform Racing 3 lmao
Definitely could have used some checkpoints and bgm/sounds. Visually it was a bit cluttered but acceptable. Overall, a decent experience.

It was a bit too difficult for me to complete. Jumps felt very floaty and unforgiving. There were constant holes between tiles that were very distracting. I really like the hand drawn graphics though. Especially the player sprite. It's super cute.

What if rayman 1 was done in 2024? Here's your answer!
Adorable artstyle and sprites hiding a continue button Zoom in your window to show it
and the most frustratingly tight platforming acompanying a very cloudy jump, very big hitboxes and absolutely not friendly timed platforms that trigger with your hair.

I did not complete this one, but it deserves and award.

Thank you for making it. One day i'll have the skill to complete it...

That was an adorable sprite for Neuro!

As others mentioned, managed to get it working by zooming in the browser page.

Absolutely love the character sprite, it's very cute. Thought the art was nice across the board too. The collisions were a little wonky sometimes (such as getting stuck against walls, and falling at the edge of platforms). I found being sent right back to the beginning after getting hit pretty harsh too.

Overall, I think this was great for a first game! if you could iron out some of the issues, and refine it some more, it would be really fun.

I thought the game was unplayable until I checked the comments and saw that I needed to zoom on on the page.

The game is quite difficult, but the controls feel pretty good. I wasn't able to get very far because I'm bad at 2D platformers, but the part I played was fun.

Doesn't work for me unfortunetly

oh this was so much fun. though the games control is a bit slippery, and having to zoom in is a little weird. over all it is a great game XD

were the osu collectable thingies supposed to be checkpoints? cuz completing the game would be a less painfull if they were

the dimensions of the game embed in the page arent the same as the size that godot is using for rendering, make sure they match so people dont have to zoom into the webpage to play the game

Developer

sorry about that, I don't currently know of a way to fix it but I'll definitely try to fix that for next time, thank you  for the advice.

I think you did not set the window's mode to canvaslayer from viewport.
