Really well done! I unfortunately got softlocked by that crystal respawn bug but it was on my 5th crystal so I'm gonna count that as a win haha
The level design was really great, I love that I felt lost the entire time but was actually always being led to the next area. Love the aesthetic too! Great job!

NOT THE REPSAWN BUG!!! I'm sorry about that... It's 100% on me since I flubbed some of the colliders during the final hour before submitting. 'Course with that said, thank you for playing! And still liking the game even after that bug??? King.

Here's the ending cutscene. It's a bit short, but you deserve it!

Good work! The level design makes it feel like a big and rich world and the aesthetics is very fitting. Very smart use of few pixels.

Congratulations!

This game is really polished. There are so many nice little details that makes this game awesome. I love it!

AMAZING!! I feel like the hover mechanic felt really good and I love the song and the whole vibe of this. Great work!!!!

Perfect in every possible way.

The music was really nice and the art fit really well! It amazes me what some people can make, considering the limitations of the jam!! Great Job!

🎵  do do dodo, do do do 🎵

Love the music! Love the art! Amazing design and polish. I mean, you guys had a friggin cut scene in the beginning. Really liked the way enemies change design in different dimensions and the feel of going from space to tech... such a great atmosphere. Nice job!

OMG thank you so much! Stoked to hear you liked the aesthetic of the Flipside, it was definitely a challenge to get it right.

Super cute game!!! Can't believe yall put this together in 5 days :O great work and had a lot of fun playing!

Great work! One of the most polished submissions I've played so far. I've seen a few uses of this same switching worlds mechanic, but this one has the best game built around it that I've seen. Fun jetpack mechanic and I enjoyed the design of some of your little enemies.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I had a blast designing each enemy, so I'm real happy that you enjoyed the look of them.

A really cute game with amazing visuals and fun, polished platforming mechanics

Best sound so far! I'd go crazy for a game like this on a Nokia 3310 phone! Very well polished.

Nicely done! Looks and sounds great and is well polished. Could perhaps have used some sort of indication of items or blocks in the opposite world, just to help navigate without constantly having to switch, but that's tricky to do within the limitations. Good job!

Developer(+1)

That was the plan originally! But unfortunately we couldn't get the shader tech to work, R.I.P.

Great work! The flipside concept is really well done and I really like how you've managed to have to very different and distinct environments within the tech limitations of the jam. Really cool

I loved it!  The look of the flipside world really resonated with me. I liked the platforming as well, it was easy enough to figure out what I had to do and hard enough to be a challenge to actually do it. It took me 19 minutes to finish. Well done!

Nice! Great look, it felt like an alien world. The player controls were nice, floating around felt good and navigation between worlds wasn't too bad despite the small resolution. Level design was pretty well done too, I didn't get lost at any point... and I should mention that music was a nice touch, hard to incorporate within the restrictions but sound was good. I finished the game with 14 crystals but it took me 23 minutes lol

That's great to hear! Glad you liked the music too. We were excited to add it, since otherwise the game would be a bit too quiet LOL

Very cool- love the level design, very metroidey and fun to explore

Feels like a game I wish I had on an old Nokia phone. Level design played well to the mechanics of the game. I had a blast jet packing around finding all the collectables. The graphics and gameplay worked great. Very polished product. I'm claiming myself as the speedrun world record holder with a time of 15:38. Try and beat me ;)

OMG fantastic. Music, collectables, jetpack, gun, alternate universe... So polished and fun... This is such a great game.

Oh man, thank you so much for the kind words!

Great job. Game has a good feel and well-designed puzzles that make good use of the mechanics.
