Description
I used Cubase to work in and composed my tracks with Foundations Piano by Heavyocity (check it out, it is completely free!). I also used some ambient and sound design to flesh out the track. It is a single track, but divided into three chapters. I imagine it is for a visual novel or a 2D story driven game.

Message from the artist:
Thank you so much for listening!

Theme:

Tick Tock...

How does it fit the theme?
I went with the "Tick Tock" theme to tell a story of growing old. It is basically about the trials of life, loss and grief. But also, as you grow older you become more equipped to deal with life.

Professionally made piano music! My respect!

I like this one a lot. It's calming, but also tense and makes me a little anxious; I think that's exactly what you were going for, nice job!

Calming and nostalgic. I really love it!

Calm silently melancholic that’s my impression

It is so... sad... it's overflowing with melancholy and sadness... excellent work!

Definitely picking up the Heavocity piano after hearing this. Better than all the demos on their site.

Time is certainly a scary thing, it's come and goes.

I like the idea of showing the process of growing old through chapters, the end really feels sad. Also thanks for sharing your free resources (piano), that's always a nice thing to do :)

It's as if you poured a lot into this one song and it showed. The emotion, soundscape, and arrangement, were all beautiful. By far the "simplest" track I've heard from the jam but also one that deserves to be the main theme of something. One to play both at the beginning and at the end of a meaningful journey. I'm talking like The Red Strings Club's main theme kind of deal. So bloody good.

Hey Sam, nice to see you in another jam so soon. Great sound design as always. Really enjoyed the soft piano mixed with the subtle ambient sounds, it felt very intimate and emotional.

I found myself wishing at the end for something to hold on to, but the piano theme is unrelenting. I think there's definitely a game where that fits. It might be the sort of game I would find too sad to play :D thanks for sharing!

So moody! The sparse piano is so evocative. Nice use of sfx and pads. Thanks for sharing.

I'm going to check out that piano! It sounds great!

The atmosphere in this one is huge...
The dark ambient / soundscape passages are perfect in my personal opinion and it makes me mad seeing that you only have 8 subscribers. Well I'm the 9th and hope there will be more soon!
