There's Time for Us - Our hero and his sidekick must dance with purpose under the eye of several waltzing supervillains

Tick Tock...

How does it fit the theme?
It's a spy/heist/caper game about a race against a (figurative) clock and most of the tracks were given deliberately time-pun names.

It's fun how percussive the instruments feels from the very first track. At the beginning I didn't really like that piano, but then the bass and synth show up and it's so fun! :) I don't know apart from the sax it has a 2000 popish sound and it's quite unique as an ost.

Definitely fitting for a spy vibe :)

Really like the jazzy style and tone of this! Very fun to have a story about saving the world that doesn't take itself too seriously. I could imagine the waltz scene being very humorous and tense. Quite an interesting choice to make such a sax-focused soundtrack, as well -- I enjoyed the saxophone composition throughout, but I could have used a little more variety in the dynamics of that instrument in some places (volume, etc.), to spice things up. Also more rhythmic variation in the percussion within each track would have been nice, although I understand you might have wanted to keep it fairly consistent to be more loop-able, which is understandable. "Limited Time Spy" nicely brought together the themes introduced earlier. Overall, the tracks all work well together and have a nice flow! 🎷

I love this! The handrawn image caught my attention immediately and the music sounds like a point'n'click adventure which would suite the whole secret spy / agent thing!

Great work and thought put in this project! Wishing you all the best for this jam! :)

Great job in creating a cohesive soundtrack! The instruments used play well to the spy/detective type theme. "Petey's Plan" has an interesting shift around the 1:58 mark, though I'm not sure if it matches just giving the details of a plan out - maybe this part is the plan being played out visually while they describe it? Either way, it's got a nice vibe to it. If I could give one critique to the soundtrack as a whole - while the sax clearly stands out due as being the lead, it's still fighting with the rest of the instruments for space in the mix. Some volume adjustments and slight variations in timing could help make things feel a bit more loose and open, IMO. Regardless, solid little bop of a soundtrack overall. Nice job!

Love the spy theme!

I dig how groovy the melody is. It stands out from most of the entries I've listened to. The instrument layering in Clocking the Catastrophe is well done and satisfying. The waltzing supervillains idea is great. I appreciate the reuse of the main theme across tracks too.

Yassss, spy stuffs are always cool. The cover also reminded me of "The Town With No Name" for some reason haha.

This is nice jazzy-style music! If not a secret, what vst or library you used for sax sound?

Thanks for your kind words! And definitely not a secret--it's the DSK Saxophone: https://www.dskmusic.com/dsk-saxophones/

Definitely got the detective game vibes in this, really well composed! Favorite track would have to be Limited-Time Spy, really enjoyed the change.

The tracks give me the feeling of a kinf od "jolly noir" - if darker, they could have been the theme for a typical noir hard-boiled TV series, but as it is now it instead gives a nice cartoonish noir feeling. The detective-style is not to be missed. They are nicely tied together with the similarity between them (especially the beginning). The final track is a bit of a change (in a good way), and sounds like some late 80s  coin-op game soundtrack. Fits the imagined game really well and a well done job!
